Which Beaches Resort for DD15 and Cousin13?

We are trying to decide between taking my DD and her cousin on vacation this year, and would like some input from anyone who may have gone to the Beaches Resorts. Can anyone suggest which would be more appropriate for a 15 y/o and a 13 y/o?

I've heard great things about Turks & Caicos, but I've never been. My aunt unclue and 16 yo cousin went and they all loved it! If you go, I want a full report!

I got married at Beaches Turks & Caicos in 1998. It has the most beautiful beach and water they I've ever seen anywhere.

I can't really say how much fun it is for kids, cause it was just my husband and me. But I know it is a lot more kid-centric now that it was then.

Been to Beaches Negril (wonderful, great beach, great resort area) and Beaches Boscobel (good for smaller kids). Preferred Negril, would go back in a minute, but it has gotten too expensive.

I'm a TA and we just had the Beaches/Sandals rep here this morning. She said that right now they are currently getting a few complaints about Beaches Turks and Caicos and to point clients toward Negril right now. She didn't go into specifics but if a rep is being negative, there might be a reason. She did say that the beach is wonderful and the property is one of her favorites. It is probably next in line for rehab though and the problems will be hammered out soon.

I would recommend Negril.

We've never been to Beaches Negril, however we are regulars at Sandals Negril and love, love, love it. The beach is not as pretty as Turks, but it is still very nice.

I have to warn you that getting to Negril from the airport in Montego Bay takes either a free 2 hour bus ride or an expensive 15 minute prop plane flight.

The beaches aren't even comparable Turks and Caicos wins hands down. I am a beach person and would pick Turks. I loved Turks and Caicos. Though I didnt stay at the Beaches there.
