Which beach to visit?

I am not sure where to post this.....
We are headed to Disney next week. We would like to go to a beach at least for a few hours. I have heard both Clearwater and Cocoa beach recommended. Which is better? How do you find a beach once in the area? We are planning on going to Clearwater to see a spring training game. Would it be possible to do the beach and that in a day? Thanks!

I think Clearwater Beach is nicer than Cocoa Beach...

Cocoa Beach is worth the trip, on the Atlantic Ocean with larger waves than Clearwater Beach which is on the Gulf of Mexico.

Cocoa Beach is reachable in just under one hour, while Clearwater is just under two hours from Orlando area.

If you were going to Clearwater for a game, than I would try to fit in both, especially if the game is in the late afternoon or evening.
