Which beach from Anaheim?

We will be staying in Anaheim next month for a convention. Which beach should I go to? Don't want anything too far. We'll be taking a bus but not a tour.

We went to Huntington Beach last year before arriving to Disney, I believe it is one of the closest one (about 1/2 hour) from the park.

I also agree with Huntington Beach. 20 minutes away and nice.

So, what is the easiest way to get to Huntington Beach from DL? There will be two 18 yo girls going by themselves to the beach in July. I'm thinking to just put them on a taxi, and then they can grab a taxi back to the hotel.

Does anyone know what the cost of a taxi would be? Alternately, how easy would it be for them to use the bus system? I will be at the DL hotel, but participating in a Convention while they do a beach day on their own.

I would like to know how much a taxi would cost as well. I just found out that a bus will cost you $3 but will take you 1 1/2 to get there because all of the stops

Yep, I saw that the bus would take 1 1/2 hours too. Yikes!

BTW, according to Google Maps, it is about a 30 minute car ride. And from what I've found, expect it to cost about $45-$50 one-way for the taxi. So, is worth an extra hour each way?

Also according to Google Maps, it is a 20 minute walk from the Disneyland hotel to the bus stop.

I wonder if you can find a taxi that will hold 5-6 people. We'll need one that size. Does anyone know if you have to pay per person or per taxi?

If it's the Grayline bus station they are walking to, I would advise against that. The area the bus station is in looked very sketchy to me.
