Which bag would work better

I agree. It starts to rub on your neck. I had thought of buying one of those seatbelt pads that velcro's on the should harness of a seatbelt to see if it would help ease the pain. See the link below for a picture of what I am talking about.

Oh another bad thing about this bag because it has a magnet on the front flap that is very strong, it demagnatized my WDW card. So more than once I had to get my card replaced:headache:

If you go with the disney bag since it is canvas and lite colored it may show the dirt easily so I would scotchguard it.

Yes, my tickets were demagnatized too:scared1:

I'd go with the second one. I suggest the Vera Bradley Hipster. I love it and it's very comfortable (& fashionable.)

Can I just say, I thought I had this worked out in my head to carry a bag I currently am using as a diaper bag. Now, I am thouroughly confused and in need of a day of shopping and girlfriend consulting. Good thing you all have already done most of the work...shopping and consulting.;)
I love this place:woohoo:

I just got my BAGGALLINI in the mail - which via the budget board I was able to get for only 19.30!! so far I think its really cool - I got it in LIME green of course. :goodvibes

Its really lightweight, but the material looks water resistent, and there are a TON of pockets. I like the one on the strap for the cell phone..will definitely be using that.

Ill be using it for the first time on my November trip.
Will report back at that time! ;)

I have the Baggallini Messenger in black. I loved all of the pockets but I actually had TOO MUCH stuff and made it somewhat heavy. I know better this time around. I also liked that it was water resistant, but I still put my Nintendo DS in a Ziploc baggie just in case. It was nice to have a place for my water bottle (and Kool-Aid packets too). My biggest problem was the side adjustable strap kept moving from where I put it. When the strap is too long, it migrates to my hip. I'm sure a few pins would stop that, but it got really annoying. It also rubs my neck when it moves. I'm going to give it a try for my next trip during Thanksgiving.

One suggestion- check what the weight of the bag is in the description. I saw a bag I liked that showed the weight as over 2 lbs. No way. I want something light and easy to carry.

I got my bag at Sierra Trading Post- apparently their website is down today, so I cant post a pic but it is the Overland Equipment Placer. Purchased based on reading recommendations here. They were on clearance, black, turquoise and I think pink, for $18, half price of the same bag on ebags.

haven't used it yet so dont know how much I will love it- am ATTEMPTING to give up my fanny pack! ;)

I have two Overland Equipment Placer bags that I switch out down there and absolutely love them. They wouldn't work if you had a little one you had to carry stuff around for, but for just one person they are my favorite bag (small and light). I have one in paprika and one in a lime green.

I love the travel mate bag.

Thanks for posting this, I was looking for a bag too, and got wonderful links to compare and look.

I am a backpack girl. I can't do the one shoulder thing.

I have a columbia cross-the-body type bag which is GREAT, but it has zero shoulder padding. Just the strap. I'm gonna get one of those seatbelt pads and see if it helps. It might be good for DTD. But for parks, I"m all about my backpack, plus the hubby will carry it too!
