I put together my list and I wrote off a lot of attractions so I can do more of hte rides I am addicted to next trip. My DH is worried that when we go next time that we will skip an attraction and then within the next year after the attraction will be gone like Tarzan Rocks! and WWTBAM (which we only did once each - I don't miss them).

Which Attractions/Shows are you skipping by on your next trip?

We are going in 3 days :yay: and my kids have a few that we did last year (during their first trip) that they have already vetoed for this trip:

Jungle Cruise - Borrrrring
Swiss Family Treehouse - ditto
Stunt Show at DS - quote "too much yap yap yapping"

I could personally do without Mission Space this time. Fun once; turned me green on ride #2.

Good question! Let's see...

MK-
Swiss Family Treehouse-boring
Ariel's Grotto- DD hates Princesses
CoP- saw it last year
Liberty Belle Riverboat- maybe next trip
Space Mtn- DD is too scared to ride
Splash Mtn- down for rehab while we're there
Tomottowland Indy Speedway- boring and looong line

Epcot-
Test Track- DD doesn't like it
American Adventure show- saw it last year, thought it was boring and hokey
HISTA- Saw it the past 3 visits
Ellen's Universe of Energy- seen it, DD thinks it's dull

AK-
Kali River Rapids- I hate getting soaked on rides, and in Jan, it might be too cold
Pocahontas & her Friends show- no desire to see it
Primeval Whirl- DD is scared to ride it

MGM-
B&B show- Did I mention DD hates the Princesses?
Lights, Motors, Action- DD and I have no interest
Animation Tour- no, thanks
Playhouse Disney- DD is too old for it
RnRC- DD is too scared to ride
Sounds Dangerous- Sounds dull

Now that I write it down, it seems like a lot we will miss. Oh, well, there's always next time! :cool1:

Wow, the American Adventure is boring and hokey? You gotta be kidding me.? Its the best attraction in the whole WS. Brings a tear to my eye every time.

I am with bengalfreak on this one. The American Adventure is easily the best attraction in World Showcase, and showcases the historic events it covers very accurately. They are also some of the best animitronics on property as well.

The only thing we made it a point to skip was Tarzan.
We try to do everything at least once. Our favorites are done over and over again.

Country Bear Jamboree - we were only interested in the holiday version and they aren't doing it.

Indiana Jones Stunt Show. We have not seen this show in years. I wish they would get something new in it's place. Instead of getting rid of WWTBAM they should of canned this show. :)

Ak - We always skip Kali River Rapids and Dinoland. We'll next be going in October 2007 with my Aunt and her best friend. Neither of them has done AK yet, so I think that may be all that we skip of the BIG attractions. I personally will be skipping Flights of Wonder 'cause I'm afraid of birds. The Nemo show is at the TOP of my agenda for that trip, since it wasn't open yet on our most recent trip.

MGM - Again, they've never visited this park, so we'll likely do the BIG attractions. I don't think I'll get them onto RnRC, but I think that my partner who gets motion sickness but enjoys ToT (since it's the only thrill ride that doesn't get him sick) will persuade them to join us there. However, I probably wouldn't waste time with Sounds Dangerous. The Backlot Tour/Animation Tour are now just ghosts of what they once were, but they should see at least Catastrophe Canyon on the Backlot Tour, I suppose (otherwise, we skipped them ourselves on this last trip and didn't miss them...well, I missed the Animation Tour very much and that's why I didn't do the hobbled version.). We also skip the Playhouse Disney thing 'cause we don't have children. While I might see LMA with someone who hasn't seen it already like this coming trip, I'd never see it on a trip when it's just us.

Epcot - Pretty much the only things we tend to skip are "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" and "Circle of Life", though the Figment ride is close to that cut-off point.. We also usually watch only ONE of the travelogue movies per trip. I won't see Canada's movie again...I'm hoping they update it. As of this last trip, I think I wouldn't miss Ellen if I skipped her too (I was reciting the dialogue with her).

MK - We generally skip: Tomorrowland Speedway, Dumbo, Carousel, Aladdin's Carpets, Mad Tea Party, Tom Sawyer Island. After my last trip, I added Space Mountain to my personal skips, 'cause it caused too much lower back pain for the rest of the trip. I would add to that list: Stitch, Treehouse, Tiki Birds (until the old management comes back).

Pleasure Island - THE ONLY CLUB WE'VE EVER BEEN IN IS ADVENTURER'S CLUB AND WE LIKE IT THAT WAY.

I will never go in the Stitch thing at MK again. Lame. Seeing the car stunt show at MGM once, was enough. Sounds Dangerous at MGM is lame also. Maybe if it was a hot day and I needed a cool down and a nap, I would go in there ;)

Here are the attractions I tend to skip almost everytime:

MK - Stitch, Tom sawyer island, treehouse, and the timekeeper (but that isn't around anymore)

EPCOT - Any of the circlevision films (I just don't want to stand long enough to watch them :lmao: ), circle of life

Disney studios - Sounds dangerous (it's an issue when an attraction based completely about sound... has numerous sets of broken headphones :confused3 ), playhouse disney, Star tours (It made me and DW sick everytime we rode it.. so we decided we should stop riding it :rotfl: )

AK - we usually get through everything here... mainly because of the fact there aren't all that many attractions here...

That's about it... :thumbsup2

I like the American Adventures too!

Here's what we're skipping...

MK:
Magic Carpet of Alladin, Ned's Jungle boats, Country Bears, Hall of Presidents (zzZZZ), Liberty Boat, Ariel's Grotto, Dumbo, Mad Tea Party, Pooh, Peter Pan's, Barnstormer, Astro Orbiter, Progress (is this still open?) and Indy Speedway.

Epcot:
Wonders of Life, Circle of Life, Living w/ the Land (nice for a one timer) and Imagination, Impressions De France, El Rio and O'Canada.

MGM:
Indiana Jones, Sounds Dangerous, Magic of Dis Animation, Playhouse, Backlot (no more - ever!), Little Mermaid and B&B.

AK:
Pocahontas (not good to me), Rafiki's Planet Watch (too much time wasted) and Triceratops Spin.

**DH says he wants to do the Jungle Cruise, the Treehouse and the Tiki Room (pulling my hair out!) next trip. We also have to sit through Flights of Wonder again (hope it's not too hot) because my DH loves birds (it's better than sitting through Beauty and the Beast IMO :p).

Stitch's Great Escape! Didn't make any sense to me at all and our DS4 asked when the ride was going to start :confused3

And I have to admit, I think we are going to skip HM next time. Our DS4 got too scared on it and I didn't feel comfortable on it either anymore, even though I've been through it before.

We missed seeing the Country Bears and I have loved them in my previous visits to Dis. So we are going to make sure we see it next trip.

Wow! I finally posted something controversial- there are a lot of American Adventure supporters out there!

We still don't like it. At least you all won't have to wait in line behind us. ;) I'm glad we saw it once, but we won't be seeing it again.

Indiana Jones--seen it way too many times.
Stunt, Motor, Whatever--seen it once and that was enough
Stitch--you know why
Muppets 3D--time for a change
Kali Rapids--I shower at night

I'm gonna go on the record saying that I don't like this post. That's all. I think most of you can know what I'm refering to.

Epcot:
Circle of Vision movies
Wonders of Life
Circle of Life
Mexico Ride

Magic Kingdom:
Hall of Presidents
Treehouse
Aladdin
Astro Orbiter
Dumbo
Country Bears
Tea Cups
Barnstormer
Liberty Boat
Speedway
Stitch - Might not get out of this one :rolleyes2
Tiki Birds

MGM:
Sounds Dangerous
Playhouse
Animation
Muppets

AK:
Pocahontas
Rafiki's
Triceratops
Primeval Whirl - Might not get out of this one
Flights of Wonder

Muppets 3D--time for a change

:confused3 I thought Disney had changed it. When I went with my family back in 93, I remember bees in the 3D movie and the seats vibrating. When we went last week, the bee scene and vibrating seats were gone.
