DH & I will be at Mickey's Halloween Party on Tuesday October 11. I know we can enter Disneyland at 3:00 PM, and the party is from 6:00-11:00 PM.

I'm assuming the evening will be similar to the Extra Magic Hours at the Magic Kingdom in Disneyworld, in that some attractions will be closed.

Which attractions stay open during the Halloween Party? Which restaurants stay open until very late in the evening?

Almost all attractions will be open. In that respect it's like a typical late night at DL.

DL has so many more attractions that the MK. It won't be like EMH in comparsion with limited attractions.

You can check out my maps that I got during MHP last year and it will tell you what is open and closed during MHP.

Thanks, the maps are great! But maybe it's because I've never been.... but I can't tell what (or if!) anything is closed. :confused3

Based on last year's map, it looks like the following attractions will be closed:

Tarzan's Treehouse
Casey Jr.
Storybookland Canal Boats

Toontown is not listed on the map at all so it might be totally closed? Maybe someone who attended last year can jump in here.

We'll be at the Oct 11th party too! Thanks for posting the map from last year. We are so excited :cool1:

We were there but I have no idea haha. I don't remember going over there so maybe it was closed?

Tom Sawyer's Island, the MSDixie, etc. are closed as well. 95% of the park is open though.

I've just consulted my MHP map from last year, and while it shows TT on the map, it doesn't specify if it's closed. I know that there wasn't any TOT there last year, and am pretty sure that it was closed during the 2 MHP that I attended last year. Perhaps someone else that was there last year can confirm this.

Last year, Toontown was closed for the party (it closes early on regular nights that have fireworks anyway!). I'm almost positive Innoventions was closed too, and probably a few attractions on Main Street, but no big deal.

The map shows Small World as being closed (or perhaps more accurately, doesn't show it as open). But I think they blocked it off the map and reserved the right to open it if crowds warranted. When we went on a mid-October Friday, crowds definitely warranted it and it was open.

The boats on the Rivers of America are closed (the Columbia makes a backdrop for the Peter Pan/Pirates Meet and Greet).

The map should show you the restaurants that were open last year, though they could have different ones open this year.

Have a great trip!

Last year it's a small world was closed for refurbishment during halloween time, it most likely will be for the most part this year too for the holiday makeover.

Maybe that's why it wasn't shown on the map. But to my surprise, it was running mid-October during the party (and also regular hours) when we went. (This was a Saturday morning--10/16, I believe--after Space Mountain and Indy.)

I'm not sure about the boats for the party this year; I would THINK they won't run, but it sounds like they're moving the pirates over to Rancho del Zocalo, so they feasibly COULD run the boats this year if they wanted.

I remember that IASW wasn't running during MHP on Oct 1st last year.

Last year IASW was closed on Oct 25 for the Holiday overlay.
