We are looking into flights for October. Toronto is looking way too expensive (big shock! LOL) We're considering flying out of Buffalo now. I remember seeing a thread on here a while ago in which the various American airlines were discussed and the pros/cons of each.

I can't remember, but it seems to me that one was particularly bad wrt changing flight times after you're booked etc.

Any advice/info would be appreciated.
TIA!

Jet Blue and Southwest are the ones we use out of Buffalo. Both very reliable and comfortable.

not sure about which to avoid but JETBLUE, jetblue, jetblue would be my #1 choice. Great flights, tv on every seat back, leather seats, blue chips and you can really find great deals what's not to

Price wise, I would avoid Jet Blue, American, and Continental....

Service wise, I have had great service on all of them except for Jet Blue,
My number one choice is Southwest and then US airways and Air Tran are tied for second for price and service......

AirTran are the airline that changes flights. We went last trip with them, though, and they were otherwise good. I, actually, liked Southwest the best. They were cheap, got there early, and the flight crew we had both trips were great. Download Southwest's ding program from their website for their best deals-it 'dings' your computer when they have a deal where you want to go.

Toronto is more for flights and more for parking and more of a hassle. You'll enjoy flying out of Buffalo much more. We went Buffalo the first year and liked it. Last two times, we've gone from Detroit (we live near London so Detroit and Buffalo are same distance) and even it has been cheaper parking and less hassle than Toronto.

We flew Southwest last June out of Buffalo and had great service. We're flying again with SouthWest Vacations in August and are looking forward to a great trip.

We've flown American and had no troubles.

We flew United and I wouldn't fly with them again if it was my choice.

We love Southwest. Sign up for DING and rapid rewards. Buffalo is a really easy airport to navigate around.

Thanks! I've already signed up for the ding. Admittedly I haven't checked out their deals lately. We've just changed our plans and are probably going Oct.24 - Nov 1 (instead of next April).

My sister has been checking flights and so far JetBlue is the best (on the days/schedule that we want). I think she said SW isn't showing flights for Nov. 1 yet.

Thanks for the input everyone!
