Which Airport Lounge?

As VA passengers, I know we aren't allowed in the V-lounge, so which LGW South Terminal airport lounge would you choose? Lingfield Servisair or No. 1 Lounge? And is paying for a lounge worth it?

We went in the Lingfield in March and, for us, it was worth every penny. It was a little bit crowded when we first got there (about 8:30) but it soon emptied out. The only thing I would say is that they don't do hot food so if that is important to you go for the No. 1 lounge instead.

It's so nice to start your holiday off away from the crowds and I'll certainly book a lounge next time we go away (except for our holiday in August when we are going from Termnal 5 Heathrow, which doesn't have any lounges available to book )

sorry to hijack, but has anyone used the north terminal lounges? which one is best and whats included?
