On arrival to Orlando from the UK we would like to stay in an Airport Hotel prior to our early morning drive to the Gulf Coast.

Which hotel near Orlando Airport would you recommend ?

Shuttle service would also be an advantage.

The Hyatt looks good but we don't fancy staying in the airport.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Holly

I always suggest a Priceline bid for a 3* hotel in the MCO area. All of the 3* hotels they use are very nice, all provide complimentary shuttle to/from the airport 24/7. The ones that come up most often seem to be the Hyatt in the airport (it is really quite nice, quiet, rooftop deck and pool, etc), The Holiday Inn select and the Renaissance (both nearby, with excellent shuttle service, nice pools, etc). Less often the Marriott or the Crowne Plaza. All of those run 120's to 150's/night if booked directly. They vary on Priceline from $36 to 45/night.

If you would prefer a suite there is a nice Embassy Suites by the airport also with shuttle. It runs a little more per night ($89- $129 range) but is a suite with a full breakfast for all.

Holly,
There are tons of hotels near the airport - here's a list of the closest ones (other than the Hyatt)... all have shutte service to the airport.

Sheraton Suites
Hawthorn Suites
Marriott
Hilton Garden Inn
Renaissance
Holiday Inn Select
La Quinta
Courtyard
Embassy Suites
Amerisuites

Hope this helps!

We've stayed at the Embassy Suites a couple of times - very nice and convenient for breakfast in the a.m.
