Not specifically to Orlando. Anywhere. Overall. Flying out of Boston or Providence for the most part.

Give me the lowest ones to watch, please. Southwest? JetBlue?

And the highest ones to stay away from.

DH has a lot of dividend miles with USAirways due to travel for work, but I find them expensive when it comes to me purchasing a ticket to do along with him.

What is the best way to find the lowest airfare?

I fly Southwest as often as I can. With all the added fees (check bags fees, drink/snacks fees, etc) a lower rate could end up higher than Southwest (where you can check 2 bags for free). :goodvibes

when planning our trip to disney a few weeks ago I watched the airfare from Buffalo to Orlando...everyday...for 6 months...here's what I learned...they all vary...everyday. Southwest didn't charge for luggage and ended up having the lowest airfare when I was ready to book (about 4 wks before trip)...but on any given day it was Airtran, or Southwest that seemed the most reasonable.

Google - bing travel

This is a graph that shows you what the airfare has been for that particular flight for last few months - it also shows you lowest airfare available now and whether or not its expected to raise.

This website was awesome and helped me feel confident that when I bought it was a good time to buy.

I'll check that out. Thanks.

So when is the best time to buy usually? Months before or weeks before?

Spirit Airlines...

This past summer, we went DOWN for $78 and BACK for $58 a person! Their fares stay pretty consistent, but there ARE those low fare days like we happened upon.

You pay for a Coke and to check your bags, but getting there is cheap! Carry-on and buy a Coke in the airport! :thumbsup2
