Which ADRs to make first?

The last time I made ADRs, breakfast at CRT was the super-hot reservation and you had to call an actual person on the phone to get it.

From reading recent posts, it seems that BOG might now be the hardest reservation to get. I'm going to try for breakfast here as well as at Garden Grill at EPCOT, but only if I can get them for 8 am. I should probably note that we are going the week of Christmas.

The other two possibly hard-to-get ADRs that are currently on my list are a Fantasmic package (deciding between MM and H&V) and dinner at Le Cellier.

I do need to choose some others, like at AK, but at this point I would be pretty equally happy with Tusker House or Yak and Yeti.

So does this order for attempting the ADRs make sense:
BOG 8 am breakfast
Garden Grill 8 am
Fantasmic package
Le Cellier dinner

Also, what are the other most-sought-after ADRs that are not yet on my radar?

My wife and I are so very much like you in our Disney dining except we are not fans of BOG. We will be at WDW world at the same time and will make many of the same ADRs! Crystal Palace, California Grill, Sci-Fi, Brown Derby, Tiffins can be challenging to get during Christmas week.

I'd add that Ohana is also very hard to get.
You should try to book them in the order that means the most to you first. Keep in mind also, that the further out your reservation is, the easier it is to get.
As for BoG, well, you should prepare yourself for the fact that there won't be anything open when you first book. It's just very hard to get. If you don't get anything, keep trying and checking every day. I scored a dinner ADR once after a week went by after my 180 day, just randomly checking during my lunch break at work. You never know.

BOG is on the list for a combination of reasons, including location and it's Belle's castle. My daughter and I were there for dinner once during a half-marathon weekend and the food was good enough and we did enjoy eating in the castle. However, if we can't get the 8 am reservation I probably will opt for Crystal Palace instead.

That's good to keep in mind. I've also read a few references to a program through Undercover Tourist that (from what I understand) will search for ADR openings . . . I'll have to investigate that further.

I’ve always had success with the Touring Plan tool.

I agree with Tonberry its best to put the popular ADR's toward the end of your trip as you will have a better chance if getting them.

Thanks! I will see what happens on ADR day but it's good to know about the Touring Plan tool. (Five years ago I had WDW planning down to an exact science, but so much has changed since then, I feel like I know almost nothing about planning now.)

That makes a lot of sense. However, there are other constraints since we are going at such a busy time. For example, there is no ADR that would tempt me to plan MK for Christmas Day.

Yeah that's probably not a wise decision.

You can also use m o u s e d i n i n g.com to search for ADRs just like UT. But it allows up to six searches rather than the limit of 2 on UT.
