help!!! 2 ADRs opened up today that I’ve been searching for- problem is- they’re both on the same day. I need to cancel one of them.
So- I have an 11:20 lunch ADR at Beaches and Cream, as well as a 4:45 dinner ADR At Liberty Tree Tavern.
This is a MVMCP day for us so I’m torn!!
Is beaches and cream too much dessert in one day? Is eating at 4:45 early enough?
I wasn’t too worried about losing time between 4 o’clock and 6 o’clock when the party stuff starts just because we have two other Magic Kingdom days other than the party.

Help!!

It might seem a little crazy but what about keeping both if you really can't decide? With an 11:20 am ADR, theres a good chance that you will be hungry again before the party starts (unless you're eating A LOT of food and ice cream at B&C!) and may end up searching for food at MK anyway.

Given that LTT is ayce at dinner, I would probably drop the B&C reservation. 4:45 is a prime eating time for a party night.

I woudl keep the LTT. It is a good time to dine, well before the party starts. If I can get an ADR in the park before 5 PM, I take it.

If B&C is convenient to your plans and you aren't traveling across property just for the adr, I'd keep that one and drop LTT. I just don't like sit-down dinners during pre-party and party hours. There are often cool snacks and treats available and we enjoy doing that for dinner instead.

I’d drop LTT. Are you trying to see any of the rare characters during the party?

If the rare/special characters are on your must-do list, you're going to need to be in line for them instead of eating at 4:45. If you're just there for the parade, fireworks, and rides, then keep your LTT and enjoy a full meal.

I have an ADR at GC cafe for 1115 and then for the Plaza at 515 on an MVMCP night. It's about 6 hrs apart and figure it's a brunch meal and a perfect time for dinner.. I say if you dont care about 2 sit down meals then keep both... beaches and cream is a sandwich shop.. so you wont be eating massive meals!!!! Keep both!!!

Personally, I would keep both. But if you really want just one, I would keep B&C because I like it more than LTT and then look for a QS for your dinner at MK.

If you did prefer LTT, then the timing is just about perfect at 4:45 on a party night. I always do an ADR around 5:00ish on a party night so that I'm all done and ready a bit before the start time.

Beaches & Cream has giant burgers and tons of ice cream. We always leave there feeling so stuffed that we are about to explode!

If characters are important to you, then you absolutely want to dump your 4:45 LTT. The rare characters, the lines will form by 4:00 and a few will come out by 5:00 or 5:30. You can only see those characters at the party (or with a party wristband when they come out early) - not during regular MK hours.

You didn't say whether it is MNSSHP or MVMCP. The main ones at either that people line up for really early are 7 Dwarfs and Jack Skellington (with Sally at MNSSHP and as Sandy Claws at MVMCP). Moana is also a big early draw as she has no meet and greet during regular hours at any of the parks. I think last year Nick and Judy from Zootopia were also a big draw for the Christmas party. They are not at MNSSHP this year. You won't know if there is another big MVMCP draw until it is known who all is showing up at the party this year.

We’re staying at POR. I don’t know how convenient- but we’re not opposed to ubering where we need to go to make things easier or quicker.
Are the special snacks/treats available before 7? I

yes, we are. At least a couple. I was hoping for a 4pm ADR thinking we’d be done eating by 5 and able to get in line for Moana / Nick and Judy.
I didn’t realize they started lining up at 4.

We’re going to MVMCP On 11/12. I didn’t realize people started lining up that early. Wow! Ok so I may try to get a LTT adr another night and keep our lunch and snack during party.

I know that Moana has been coming out to start her meet and greet by 5:45 for MNSSHP this year and her lines have been really long. If she is a priority, then you probably need to be in her line by 4:30.

—-I would definitely recommend Uber/Lyft so you don’t have to transfer busses. I bet you already know that there are no direct resort-to-resort busses. An Uber or Lyft would only take about 10 minutes.

—-Generally yes, in my experience. We are getting ready to go to MNSSHP party next week and it appears that many themed treats and entrees are available before the actual party begins at 7.
