Which Actor Do You Prefer as Bond?

I must be out of the loop...who is George Lazenby and when did he play Bond?

He played Bond right after Connery in 'Her majesty's Secret Service'.

He may have appeared in only one movie, but he had one of if not the funniest line of any Bond movie.

During the open, Bond tries to save a woman from drowning herself in the ocean. As he is pulling her back on the beach, he gets attacked by a couple of thugs. Bond beats up the bad guys, but the girl escapes in her car. Bond turns to the camera and deadpans

"This never happened to the other fellow"

The OP missed one Bond - does anyone else know who else played James Bond?

Daniel Craig actually looks like he could beat someone up unlike any of the other Bond's (except Moore-he looks pretty manley/strong too.) I really liked the new Casino Royale!

Actually, no I didn't. There were six Bonds as far as the big screen goes and one on a television show I believe if that's what you mean. I didn't include him simply because it was television and not the big screen.

I was thinking David Niven in a spoof of Casino Royale in 1967. While it was a spoof, he did play James Bond. Although like most, I usually stick to the original list (Sean, George, Roger, Timothy, Pierce, and now Daniel). Niven is one of those bar bet type of answers I suppose.

I still think Connery was the best and Brosnan a close second. I'll have to see the new Casino Royale now.

PS - They couldn't have found a better replacement for Q than Mr. Cleese.
