Which 2TS restaurants are worth THAT much more...

I don't want character meals or the Luau/Hoop De Doo/Mickey's BBQ...

I was just looking at the 2TS list....which ones are REALLY worth their 2TS?
Are they THAT much better than the 1TS restaurants?

I consider myself a foodie & an adventurous eater; there is little that I won't try. I like steak (preferably filet... to seafood, and haven't found a cuisine I don't like. BUT I looked at V & A wine pairing menu, and frankly little appealed to me (except dessert...which is TOTALLY wierd, cuz I do NOT consider myself a dessert girl!).

SOOOOO....looking for your thoughts!

If you like lobster, I'd vote for Narcoosees. The food is great. You can step out onto their covered balcony and watch the fireworks with the music.

We're trying Narcoossee's on our next trip. I figure lobster is well worth 2TS credits, especially since all 3 adults in our family are likely to order it! California Grill looks like it'd be worth it too, and we'll probably try that one as well, though maybe not on this trip. Too many restaurants, too few days to try them all!

We thought the 2 TS were well worth it at Citrico's. Probably the best overall meal we had on our last trip. Would definately go there again, and can't wait to try Narcoosee's

I love Citricos! It is well worth the 2 TS credits. The restaurant is lovely and the food is even better. And the service is excellent. I also like the California Grill. The view alone makes it worth it, I think, but the food is great as well.

That being said, the next time we go, we're going to try Narcoossee's. We try to limit our Signature restaurants to one a trip to maximize the value of the DDP. So it will pain us not to go to Citricos or CG, but I really want to try some place new. I've heard excellent things about Narcoossee's, I can't wait to try it.

I think whether it is worth 2 TS for any one meal is pretty sujective. We initally had a ressie for Cali Grill. We ended up deciding that, for us, we'd rather use the second TS to try a BF, as we've done had BF at DW. We are also pretty relaxed eaters and we aren't picky at all. Though I'm sure we'd enjoy CG, I don't think we'd care much about the difference in offerings.

We really enjoyed CG and Narcoossee's (both 2 TS) last trip. The filet at CF is delish! The view of Wishes from both restaurants is good. (we enjoyed the view from Narcoossee's the best). Our server at CG, last time, was excellent (Billy, sommelier). He made several recommendations for food (and wine), which my DM took, and enjoyed (me-not so much into wine). We had the Surf 'n Turf at Narcoossee's. The almond crusted cheesecake (Nar) was one of the best desserts I've ever had-really. Can't wait to go back this Sept. to have it again!

So those are my 2 recommendations. Hope this helps.

I would NEVER have even tried the DDP had I not come to these boards!

AND being the bargain shopper I am, was NOT considering any restaurant using 2TS...you have TOTALLY changed my mind! Booking TODAY!

Looks like DH & I might get a night at Pleasure Island, so the kids & grandma can CS it at the resort...looks like we should easily be able to work those around to have plenty to cover that night!

Yachtsman Steak House and CA grill are worth every credit I do not recommend Narcoosee's (not even for 1 credit) just my .02

We went to Artist Point last week and used 2 ts credits. It was good food, but Kona and Ohana which were only 1 ts credit and were just as good imho. I did enjoy seeing the WL though and my dd9 won Artist of the day! As far as value, our bill for 2 adults and 2 children came to about 160.00. Kona and Ohana together were more than that. So it really depends if you are focusing more on value or just the experience of eating at a signature restaurant. I don't regret going to AP, it was really good food and service, but like I said, the food at some of the 1 ts rest were just as good. Hope this helps, and I didn't just confuse you more!
