We arrive at midnight on the day we check in and our flight is early on the day we check out, so we can splurge on one restaurant that is 2 table credits during the week!

Which one would you recommend?

My favorite 2 TS restaurant is Jiko at the AKL.
It is a quiet, beautiful restaurant and the AKL is worth a trip to explore.
The service is great, attentive but not hovering and the food is wonderful. They have a great wine list and our server recommended a wonderful wine for our dinner.
We have been to Jiko on our last 3 trips and really enjoy our meals there.
Have a Great Trip

Love Flying Fish...my favorite 'nice' restaurant in WDW.

Narcoossee's...Surf & Turf! :cloud9: It's our family's "must-do" restaurant...we go every trip. We've tried just about every Signature restaurant on property and Narcoossee's is the one restaurant we can't miss. I have little ones too and ours love watching Wishes and the Electrical Water Pagent from the deck. We love it and look forward to dining there every year!

Hands down, if it is open Mickey's BBQ

It is a few hours long and a whole show, dancing, screaming kids it is the best.

You also get free beer, a night out, GOOD BBQ food. Icecream after dancing for 3 hours. And Mickey Mouse.

This is IDEAL for ages 4 and 7. And did I say beer and tip is included.

It doesn't run in winter.

So in winter if they are girls I would go for CRT, as although the food isn't super great, you get a free picture package and the FGM or princesses depending on when you go is great. Although it is not my Fav, this is all my DD5s fav. She talks about how she had dinner in the fancy castle, and saw the FGM.

Not sure I'd want to drop 2 TS credits for bbq and fries, despite the show.

I'd try the Spirit of Aloha luau first. Could be fun for the little ones.

My gf and I both enjoyed Jiko but it wasn't on par with, say, Citrico's or California Grill.

I'd consider California Grill for the "top of the world" view and incredible food!

yachstmen!! it's wonderful. we go at least twice every trip. mmm!! if you like steak, you'll love this place!

Only done three - hoping to try another one next trip. We will always do CRT until our children grow up as there is a wonderment at eating in the castle that can never be repeated.

HBD was not IMHO worth two credits, nowhere near as good as Boma or Kouzzinas which are both 1 credit.

HDDR love it love it love it. Maybe not great value for the food but bear in mind you are getting drinks included for the adults and great entertainment. Will be back again in October and will hopefully go to HDDR and CRT again.

How much more grown up do you want them? I always thought of CRT for the little, little girls. Even thinking my almost 8 year old is pushing it a bit.

We love Citricos at the Grand Floridian or California Grill at the Contemporary. Both have excellent food and wonderful service. We do one Signature dining meal when we go and tend to alternate between these two.

How sad for you,:confused3 my DD is just 8 and still adores the princesses and the whole idea of eating in the castle. The magic is very much still there for her as it is for the rest of our family. DS may be 12 tomorrow but is very happy to keep to the family tradition of CRT for our final meal as to our whole family the castle is the icon of WDW.

They're not grown up until they hit 16 or more and decide to holiday alone.:rolleyes1

I agree with the posts about doing Hoop De Doo, Cindy's Royal Table, or Mickey's Backyard Barbeque if you have kids. Cindy's food is not the best, but the atmosphere is great and you get a free pic with Cindy. Hoop De Doo has great food and the kids seem to love it. I would think that Mickey's BBQ is the same, but I have never been. We were talking about doing it on a future trip. Taking the kids to a dinners show or the castle is a must do in my opinion! :thumbsup2
