I'm taking my family (wife, 8y/o kiddo & me) to Disneyland again in 3 weeks!! :cool1:

I need to visit family(in woodland hills) for a couple of days in June, so I purchased RT tickets arriving into Los Angeles late Friday night (June 1) & leaving (from LAX) Wed. noon (June 6).

Please consider the following:

- Our available days for the 2 - 2.5 days aat DLR are (Sat. June 2 - Tuesday June 5) & the morning of the 6th.

- Fewer crowds are better (for us), we may or may not get EE (no disney hotels available, but maybe i splurge for 3 day park hopper)

- We are early risers (& take an afternoon nap) & then back to the parks for a 6pm - 11pm(ish) visit.

- I have read most of Hydroguy's rules & threads. (& i welcome his thoughts given this criteria.)

- I would be nice to see the fireworks & Alladin this time. (since we didn't see them in March).

Which 2 (or 2.5 days) would you choose given the above?

I'm thinking Sun/Mon/Tues (or Mon/Tues/Wed.)?

I'm thinking about getting a 3 day park hopper to get one day of EE?

Does Nemo or Splash or Grad nites or AP renewals/blackouts etc. affect the days we should visit?

Thanks :thumbsup2

.....than during the week....

I decided to book Saturday & Sunday (june 2nd & 3rd) for our 2 days at DLR (next month) instead of Monday & Tuesday. (june 4th & 5th).

just kidding. :rotfl: But guys....I need to book (hotels/meals etc.) asap, we leave in less than 3 weeks. Any thoughts on what the BEST TWO days to enjoy DLR (given the criteria in my post above) would be MOST appreciated by my family :dance3: .

Alright - since you asked so nicely :rotfl2: - here is my opinion.

I would do the Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - I could be on crack - but here is my rationale.

Sunday is a blackout for one of the SoCal passes - but I honestly have no idea whether or not this is a factor.

Mr. Toad is "scheduled" according to the calendar on being down Monday and Tuesday - so if that is seriously a concern as indicated by your post - I would go Sunday and hope for the best.

Grad nights are Thursday - so that should not have an impact.

Nemo should not be a factor either - my understanding is AP previews are the 6th and 7th - so you should miss that.

Thanks DizzyAmi, you rock. :thumbsup2

I'm also thinking Sunday-Tues cause it works better with my overall schedule. Also, the fact that Sunday is blacked out for the AP folks might make it good for me.

I did not know about Mr. Toad & would have been dissappointed had it been closed and i had missed it by one day (so that also has me "leaning" towards Sunday).

Finally....if i remember correctly I believe that Alladin is closed on Monday and Tuesday (maybe i'm wrong) but if that is true, that would be the final reason why having a Sunday - Tuesday trippie makes more sense than a Monday - early Wednesday am Trippie. (Can anyone else confirm??)

Thanks Everyone.

(& Dizzy....i was just having fun.....but yes, i'm kind of a smart *ss). But i hoping to get some quick attention from one of you cool guys. :))

I agree with dizzyami, Sun - Tues, especially if you want to see the firework since they are only showing on Sun night. You could plan on Sunday being the "shows" day, use that day to see all the shows (Aladdin plays 4 times on Sunday and I don't see it on the schedule for Monday or Tues) and ride what ever you come across that has a low wait time. Then spend Monday and Tuesday getting in all the rides since it's the weekday and hopefully will be less of a crowd, although you are getting closer to the beginning of summer.

It seems that with what you would like to see Sun-Tues is a must!

Good luck and have fun!!!

Thanks Mikayla & DizzyAmi,

Sunday through Tues. Morning it is.

Toad on Sunday - check.

Alladin on Sunday - check. :woohoo:

Fireworks Sunday night - check. :dance3:

It sounds like Splash will be up & running for us, too. :thumbsup2

If Mr. Toad is a priority (I love that ride too) then I think you made the right choice. Don't forget about the new Pirate's Lair. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun. You will probably want to leave that for the less crowded Monday/Tuesday.
