This summer was a total blur and I don't know if anyone else had had such a roller coaster ride like this one:
JUNE: DW found a better job with easier hours and no stress.
and I was offered the managerial job at a different hotel.
DW complained of stomach ache that turned out to do gallstones and surgery
With no insurance I took a second job at the other hotel along with my full time one, to get a headstart on the bills and show I was interested in the position.
JULY: DW outpatient surgery went great.
I ended up working the entire month of July with no days off.
I also found out the details on the manager job like no benefits, no paid vacation. and had to account for EVERY little item from a very picky and cheap owner.
AUGUST: I was at the end of my rope
and had to turn down the job offer and get some rest
We got insurance (hind sight is 20/20)
The manager at my current job gave me 2 payraises
and then was given the assistant mgr job as she was leaving for two weeks.

DW finds a better job with Benefits
I wonder whats going to happen next???
