We are taking the roundabout route to and from WDW in Apr/May. I booked our airfare to Florida shortly after it was released. I used SWA RR points and booked 4 tickets from GRR to TPA. The cash cost was $115 each...still is. Then I waited to book our trip back. The best flight I found in terms of times and cost was from MCO to FNT. It was $119 when it was released, but I had to wait until we confirmed that we would be able to do the Expedition Everest Challenge. About a week before the race registration opened, the price went up to $130 per person. Ugh! Not terrible, but I was still a little disappointed that I didn't book when they were $119:(. Once I successfully entered us in the race, the fare had dropped back down to $119:cool1:. I didn't want to risk another jump so I pulled the trigger. Boy, am I glad I did! I checked the price today...$211:faint:.

I don't know why I keep checking. I know that I am hoping for a drop in price, but I think that $115 and $119 are about as rock-bottom as those routes will get.

Same here. Going to Disneyland in June and when Southwest open last week they had only one non-stop filght for 139 each way from IND to LAX. Book with a combo of points, credits, and cash came to 710 dollars round trip for 4 of us. Now airfare is 236 out and 213 back.:faint:

Me too! I booked round trip airfare on opening day from BWI (Baltimore) to MCO leaving on June 27 and returning on July 6th. I paid $115/person going down and $156/person coming home. When I first saw the prices I was going to wait to see if the return flight dropped any $, but decided I could live with the price. I'm glad I pulled the trigger because both flights have now jumped to $174/person.

Same for me...........Jumped at $129.00 each way when SWA openned for my 5/9 trip........a few days later - those same flights were up to $233.00 each way. Glad I bought when I did:cool1:
