Where's your must sit-down eat spots?

We usually do either V&A or Bistro on our last night. Other than that, we rotate each trip and try not to do any on back-to-back vacations.

Chef Mickey's was one of our favorites!
Yak and Yeti- great food, really loved the ribs.
'Ohanas- food keeps coming! my favorite part are the wings and the potstickers.
Kouzzina- great greek food! I've been here three times and have not been able to order something other than the lamb burger; it's so good! Spicy, very flavorful, and served with tsatziki (yogurt cucumber dip) and sweet potato fries!

Plaza Restaurant at MK (not to be confused with just the ice cream parlor). We just LOVE the whole experience there. Amazing milkshakes, real steak fries, daily specials and yummy sandwiches.
We always eat at Rose and Crown because we are of Irish ancestory and somehow we feel like we are getting a piece of the homeland haha.
We have done many, many of the restaurants, but those two will ALWAYS be on our list.

Here's some must-do's for us:

Chef Mickey's
Tony's
1900 PF
Spirit of Aloha Luau
Le Cellier
CRT
Yak & Yeti

I agree with the poster who said to avoid Chef Mickeys -- I was SO disappointed when I went there last month. Nastiest, dirtiest, ugliest buffeteria I've ever set eyes on (and $$$$$!)

The best restaurant experiences I've had on Disney property were at Le Cellier, Portobello, Fulton's Crab House, Hollywood Brown Derby, and Artist Point. What these have in common is that they are more "adult" dinner places with a somewhat quiet and relaxing atmosphere and you can really take time to savor your (delicious) dinner.

We are still trying new things every trip. However, on our last trip we did eat at the Wave at the Contemporary. It was awesome! So awesome that we are doing it on our trip in May. We love it. We also have loved Narcoossee's (but will be trying Jiko for a change), Ohana, Kona Cafe and 1900 Park Fare.

Animal Kingdom - Tusker House Breakfast
DHS - Hollywood and Vine - Fantasmic package
Poly - O'hana's reakfast w/ Lilo & titch

Our TS Must-Dos
Boma dinner
Le Cellier
50's Prime Time
If we have DP, then Cali Grill and Narcoosee's

Underwhelmed by Chefs De France, Coral Reef, Mama Melrose's, Trail's End and Artist Point..either because food and/or service was mediocre or inconsistent. We enjoyed Yachtsman but thought the steaks were just as good at Le Cellier and it was only 1 TS.

On the To-Try list: Jiko, Tony's, Biergarten and Tokyo Dining.

If you are really wanting to try either Jiko or Artist Point, then here is what I would suggest you do....

Have burgers and fries or pizza one night and pay out of pocket. Save that extra TS credit for the restaurant of your choosing.

If you opt for burgers and fries, go to Beaches and Cream - Which is one of MY family's MUST DO's.

Two MUST DO's for my family (other than B&C) are Whispering Canyon and 50's Prime Time.

Great tip! I'll have to discuss that with DH. He really wanted to try Artist Point and I wanted to try Jikos. :rotfl:

There's just not enough time in the world to try our regulars and new restaurants during every trip! :lmao: Our wedding reception was at California Grill and the food was to die for. We'd love to eat there sometime too! We also ate at Narcoosee's and the food was delish. However, it was a bit overpriced for the food and atmosphere of that restaurant.

I'm checking out menus at work to try and figure out if the dining plan is worth it in the long run. Keep these suggestions coming! I love it!

LeCellier is definitely a must do. DH is a steak & potatoes kind of guy so that one will always be on the list. Biergarten used to be until our last visit. We were really disappointed with the food & service. WCC is another favorite since we usually stay at the WL and like the convenience of having one table service where we are staying.

Have fun planning!!!

Some of my favorite restaurants are; Citricos, California Grill, Crystal Palace, Boma, Sanaa, Brown Derby, and Wolfgang Puck.

'Ohana - breakfast & dinner, Kona - breakfast - the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes are AMAZING!, and Whipsering Canyon.

We have a couple of new ADRs for our upcoming March trip (Le Cellier and 50's Prime Time Cafe), but we always make a point of making ADRs for both Cape May Cafe breakfast and Akershus breakfast. We weren't going to make ADRs for Cape May because we thought we would do something different, until just tonight, my DD8 said that she loves that restaurant so much....and since we are celebrating both my DD8 and DD6's b-days while we are there, I went ahead and cancelled our Garden Grill Restaurant and made an ADR for Cape May instead. Funny thing, I thought she loved Garden Grill that is why I originally booked it, but in actuality, she thought it was just o.k. Huh go figure  As for my DD6's b-day wish, she automatically said she wanted Akershus (not a surprise because that is her all time favorite restaurant in all of Disney :goodvibes).

Oh we have that many must do's (maybe thats why we have to have long vacations at WDW to get all of our dining in :lmao: )

Must Do Breakfasts:
Boma,
Ohanas,
Cape Mays,
Tusker House

Must Do Lunches or Dinners
Sci-Fi,
50's Prime Time (lunch),
Yak & Yeti,
Jiko,
Mara (love the chicken caeser salad, the chicken is so good)
Beaches & Cream (even if it's just for a milkshake)

DH and I loved Boma and agree that if we could choose only one repeat, Boma would be it. I'm a picky eater, but I found plenty of interesting things to eat. DH is more adventurous and didn't have enough room in his stomach for everything he would have liked to try. :) AKL is so beautiful and atmospheric that it's worth eating there to look around the resort afterward.

Le Cellier
Park Fare
Akershus

The atmosphere at CRT is fabulous but we just don't enjoy the food. My 14 year actually requested we not go there!

We are trying the Brown Derby, Liberty Tree and Tusker House in June.

We tto find ourselves making the same ADR's every trip. It's hard to fit in new ones. However we did the DxDDP on our last trip so we were able to get some neew ones in.

Our MUST do's for the WHOLE family are...
HDDR
JIKO
Biergarten
Coral Reef
Sci-Fi
Mama Melrose
