I just counted--six computers in the house between my wife and I (four laptops, two desktops). We essentially have a computer wherever we want/need one.
My computer is at my desk in our den, half of the room is a TV/couches/fireplace area. The other half is my 'office', with my desk and my ebay closet, LOL.
My DH has a wireless laptop that I use when I don't feel like being at my desk or if I want to sit on the patio.
Our living room is divided into two halves. One has the tv, couch, chair, etc. the other has our computer/desk and some china/curio cabinets. This works out well, as DW and I don't always agree on a tv show, but we can stil (sort of) be in the same room.
This is exactly how mine is set up. Except along with my computer desk and bookselves, DD's toys are also over here (not for long, but for now!). I even watch TV with DH while I am on the computer, and we converse back and forth like we are in the same room. Its the same but separate lol.
My pc is in the kitchen at the recipe desk. The tower and the printer are in the cabinent right next to my chair so the only thing that shows is the moniter, keyboard, mouse, and speakers. It has a tv tuner w/remote built in so it doubles as the kitchen tv. I always have it on while I am cooking. My wifes laptop is wireless and travels throughout the house and has been to WDW 3 times.
It's right here on my lap, as I sit reclining in the family room, watching The Morning Show and sipping my coffee.
Actually, we have four computers. I have a desk top and lap top, and DH has his two lap tops for work. His laptops are on his desk most of the time and the desk top is in the farm office.
