My family could live on Pizza if I let them, however they are picky pizza people - prefering Papa Ginos (a NE thing) over most anything else.

So I'm dying to hear... who's got the BEST pizza in WDW ::MickeyMo and what places should we avoid? We need the help of the experts here! :teeth:

my kids love pizza planet, but some on this board cant stand it.

I thought the best pizza was at Disney Quest but you need admission to eat there. I like my pizza cheesy and gooey! The food there has been good every time we've been. OOOhhh, talk about desserts. :cloud9:

The worst pizza I had was the pizza delivered to the room at the All Stars.

I am also a picky pizza person, say that 3 times fast! Anyone know how the Spoodles pizza window is?

I hated both pizzas that I had @ DW. I tried the one at the ASMo resort and pizza planet in MGM. I really disliked Pizza Planet.

Papa Ginos

I havent had it in 10 years since moving

Thanks for making me craVE it again

DS got the pizza at Lottawatta Lodge in BB, I sneaked a bite of it and it was very good. It had more of a garlic flavor to it, it was much better than the other pizzas we ate at WDW.

The people on this board seem to either love or hate Pizza Planet. I guess I have to go down as a hate. We ate there in May and did not like the pizza at all. We are not picky pizza people, we will eat about any kind, but the cheese on that pizza tasted odd. Maybe they were having a bad day, but I am in no hurry to try it again.

Coming from NJ where they know how to make a good pizza, all of the pizza at WDW is bad. I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole, and that includes Pizza Planet and Spoodles.

The take out window at Spoodles is OK. Not great, but decent pizza. My DS thought the breadsticks were good. I really enjoyed the cheese calzone...it was much better than I thought it would be. Again, the pizza is not horrible, but certainly not the best.

We are also from SE MA and fans of Papa Ginos - in fact, taking the kids there for lunch today. :) My DS10 is a VERY picky eater and he compares ALL pizza to PG pizza. At Disney he favors Pizza Planet and the little pizza trailer (not sure if it has a name??) near Test Track at EPCOT. He is not crazy about the pizza at Spoodles, but will eat it if REALLY hungry. He HATED the pizza at the Concourse Steakhouse. They used to have pizza at the MK - at the place that is now the noodle station I believe (??) but that is gone. Wish we knew more pizza places before our trip in august.

Have fun! :)

It depends on what you think is good pizza. The individual pizzas at the resorts are good, but I don't really think of them as "pizza" but just food. Make any sense? We come from a very Italian area of NY and have many choices for awesome pizza.

Haven't found a good one yet. Used to be fairly decent at the Mara at AKL, but is now very salty. Love the breadsticks, though!

We've yet to find a good pizza on property after 14 visits. However, we look foward to ordering pizza from Giadorno's (chicago style...yum!) every time we are down. We usually take a pool break each day, go back to the room to clean up for the evening. And, on the night we order pizza, it's nice to eat casually in the room before heading out for fireworks, etc. They have two locations in the area and both deliver to WDW!

Well the worst was the pizza at POFQ...inedible. Blech!

The best pizza was probably at Spoodles but even it was not all that great. We just try to avoid pizza at WDW. They do so many other things very well that it is a shame to eat mediocre pizza for a meal there. :)

We actually really enjoy the pizza at POFQ and POR - for the quantity and price, makes it taste even better. We also like Pizza Planet - come to think of it, we're always just having so much fun and love being at WDW, that everything always tastes good! (My husband calls me the ever optimist - I just tend to think that there is so much hatred in the world and really awful things happening to people that things like pizza, etc. are minimal.) Sorry - I'll leave now.

I'm from NE and I am not a fan of Papa Gino's. Probably because I worked there and got sick of it.

We had pizza from the window at Spoodles a few years ago and it was ok. We had pizza delivered at the WL one time, it was HUGE and pretty good.

Ever notice that if you buy a pizza from Papas that it's an entirely different pizza than the "by the slice" pizza they sell?

The pizzas you buy whole are loaded with thick crust and bubbles.....the pizza they sell by the slice is a thin crust slice of heaven.....whats up with that?...and Ive eaten at many, many locations throughout Eastern MA as I'm always on the road.

:sad2:

None of the pizza at WDW is noteworthy!

However, try the flatbreads at JIKO, CA Grill and Spoodles.

Pizza planet is okay to bad
Spoodles is okay
MGM is bad

My kids absolutely loved the pizza from ASSp. Wanted to eat it everynight when we got home from the fireworks. They also loved the pizza at Pizzafari in AK. Take into account that my kiddos have never had specialty pizza. The only places we have here are Pizza Hut and Domino's.
