My mom was at Disney Springs for the Pooh + Lumpy pin drop this morning and uh, yeah she's swearing off doing monthly pin releases forever. It's getting crazier and crazier each month. She did get one but she had to fight tooth and nail to do so. She's so over it but there's 2 more months of this.

The crowds are getting bigger every month and she has to arrive to line up earlier and earlier each time. They're giving out wristbands which is good but she actually witnessed someone attempting to get a wristband for her service animal. Her defense? Someone got a wristband for their newborn so her dog should get one too. Insanity.

Also she heard people talking about how the pin sold out during early entry at Hollywood Studios (as in within the first 10 minutes) so people RAN over to Disney Springs instead.

I am guessing if it is per person, then they were able to request one for the baby. When we lived near Disneyland and would collect Vinylmations, our younger kiddos were able to purchase (with their own cash) if they were LE.

edited to add: It is a bit ridic to allow a baby with no money to obtain a wristband to purchase a LE item, lol.

I went with them to get September's Pooh pin and I don't know if this is just for Disney Springs, but they had a policy where each transaction had to be done on a different credit card. So one person with multiple kids could not buy a pin that were "allocated" to the kids with the same credit card. I did wonder if that was because they were curbing people using children to get more pins to resell but if a newborn can get a wristband, maybe not.
