1. Halloween fireworks, and what time do we need to start saving a seat?

2. Fantasmic, and what time do we need to start saving a seat?
We can go to either time, so which is better?

3. Street Parade, and what time?

Thank you for your help!

We went to DL last night for the fireworks, which were great, and people were already staking their claim on the best spots (right in front of the castle) by 7:30 pm. (Fireworks start at 9:25.) If you do get that close, stay to the left or center of the castle (as you face it) because there is a big inflated sphere that has cool stuff projected on it and it is on the left side of the castle. Your view of it will be obscured if you are too far to the right. Of course, you can be anywhere on Main St to view the fireworks or even in the Small World area, but I don't know if you'll see the sphere as well. Hope this helps with your fireworks question. Others may have different/better suggestions, but this was our experience last night.

We watched the fireworks last night also, but weren't really into getting the best seats -- we got there at the last minute and sat at the Plaza Inn Stage. I saw a few people with blankets and on benches in the hub in front of the castle at around 5:30. I would definitely recommend trying to get a spot in front of the castle. As was mentioned before, there's a lot of other stuff going on just to the side of and on the castle that we couldn't really see that adds something to the show.

The RoA area was roped off and people were starting to settle in for the early show of Fantasmic by 6:30. We watched the 10:30 show, and we were able to stand and watch and see everything from the upper area behind the walkway (near the popcorn cart) by getting there a few minutes before showtime. It was still crowded, but not like the early show.

I'm not a parade person, so I can't help you out there.

Thank you both! I think you were both talking about the Halloween Screams Fireworks right? Does anybody have the same advice for Fantasmic and/or the parade? Thank you!

During our trip a couple weeks ago, here's what worked for us.

Parade - We happened to by chance sit across from the Crystal Arcade (we were staring at it), and it was the best place to be imo. The show stopped right there for there performance and our two kids (4 and 6) were pulled into the show, which made their days!.

Fireworks - we had watched from a few different places in the parks, one being after Fantasmic from our area over there. Our last night, we finally decided, based off of a cast members adamancy, watched from the front of the castle. We were to the slight left. This was an AWESOME view. There was much more to the show than just the fireworks. The whole things was incredible. I'm glad we decided to watch just once from that area. I do have to say the only thing that was frustrating is that we were SO close, and when they made everybody stand up, the kids couldn't see. I wish they would let everybody sit in the front!

Yes, the fireworks advice is for the Halloween Screams show which I believe runs through Nov 1.

Thanks everyone for your help! So as far as how early to start saving a spot, it sounds like Fantasmic is the biggest one to worry about. How early do we need to find a seat for the parade and Halloween Screams? You guy are so helpful, thanks again!

It really depends upon how good of a view you want for the fireworks. We had a nice spot in front of the castle, center-right, but we got there 2 hours early to secure it. I went and got ice cream for DS8 and DW while they held the spot and we just enjoyed playing Scrabble on my iPhone until the show started.

However, you can squeeze into a spot further down Main St anytime prior to the start. We've even watched from the Main St train station and got a good spot just 20-30 min before the start. The view is not nearly as good, but the crowds were much lighter and made for a speedy exit as soon as the fireworks ended.

About 30-60 minutes before the show, they will make announcements that there are still good viewing spots from the Small World area, but we've never watched from there. So much happens on and near the castle, it makes for the best experience.

What about Fantasmic? Are there any restaurants you can see it from, where do we need to sit for it? Is the second show less busy, and if they do a third show, what time is it at?

The best spot to see fantasmic is in the middle front row of the walkway right next to the roa.

The Riverbelle Terrace has a table sitting area to watch fantasmic, but it is between a walking area.

Yes, the second show is less crowded, people start lining up for the second show after the fireworks.

If they have a third show, it would start 11:30
