The Public Discount and Visa discount has been released for this summer. Any word on when the AP deal will be released?

My final discount watch for this trip! Anxiously awaiting the AP discounts for mid June!

We have the spring discount on the first half of our trip, the summer on the second half- but had to book different views so I am so hoping there's more availability on the AP discount. At least we'd have a chance of not having to change rooms!

I was able to apply the Summer discount to my AP package but had to move up ma category, from standard to pool view at the Pop. While it's only $5 a night more that adds up when you have a 16 night trip. So I'm hoping not only to get the AP rate but in a standard room.

What is an AP package?

Last night I called CRO about dining and at the end of the call the I asked about the summer AP rate. He looked something up and then said it says too check back soon. So I should call back next week. I sure hope he is right. :)

I'd expect the AP discounts for summer travel to be released mid April, like they were last year.

Same here- if it follows last year, should be before the 15th, so closely watching now. I'm a little worried about availability, at least for my resort as the summer discount was severely restricted. Mostly I'm trying to get back to the same room type on a split stay as I don't look for the AP to be a great deal better than the summer discount that we already have.

I'm sorry I read this wrong. An Annual Passholder package is the Magic your way package with dining, but without park tickets.
Thanks!

Our las visit was in May (2014) just prior to letting our AP's expire. We will likely visit in September (2015) and may purchase AP's once again. So, I'm starting to research on discounts that may be available.

We always stay at Disney resorts. Seems like because of our timing on when we decided to make our visits, we ended up using a discount other than an AP discount for most visits. I know we used the AP discount at least once when we made our plans to visit with relatively short notice and it was all that was avaialble. Other times, either the AP wasn't available or we had a better discount; bounceback was more favorable on a couple of visits.

I don't see them online. They are still only showing up to June 15th. Did you call to get the AP rate?
I didn't see an offer page for it but when I searched my dates and went to the resort I wanted to see rates for it was in the row that shows all available offers

Yep. I see them when searching. Thanks. However, the rate I have with Orbitz is over $300 cheaper than the AP offer. Not surprised. AP rates have not been all that great in recent years. I think the last time I booked one was 3 years ago.

Well looks like I'm stuck with that split stay. Nothing available at the WL with the AP discount except club level. I didn't expect there would be. :(

I was having trouble sleeping so I picked up my cell and played around. Finally I came to the boards and was happy I was awake! Got the AP rate added. I was hoping to change to a standard view but it wasn't available in the assessable rooms so I had to stick with the pool view. At least it's only $5 more a night.

Thanks for posting. Now I start the 60 days out wait to schedule our fast passes.

Good luck all.

I would keep checking back. I am convinced that they open rooms in drips and drabs or they add rooms as they see fit.

Split stays are not that difficult so rest easy that it will be ok. :)
