Sorry to be dumb and go OT, but what does "DIS buddy ICE" mean? I've seen it on people's sigs but never understood it...

Incase Of Emergency - Basically people were teamed up with other Dis members. If anyone vanished suddenly and stopped posting. There would be someone on the Dis who could contact them via email/home/mobile/business numbers and check that they were ok.

the I.C.E thing was a thread set up for people like myself who haven't got anyone specifically that they share the DIS with, my ICE buddy is Jen_Uk, if anything happens to me or jen we have shared email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers etc, so the other party would be informed.
This was all down to Pokemon Masters DIS friend dying suddenly and Matt was devastated as he didn't know about it for a while.
I used my ICE when the company i was working for changed hands and I was unable to DIs for a few weeks, Jen kindly put a post on here to let people know.

I'll bump the thread and feel free to join if you like
