Where's my Patterson crew at?!

Just wondering where all the Patterson Court people are on the DIS! I met a few people at my training that were on here but all of them were at Chatham and Vista Post what building you're at!

Even though I haven't started my CP yet from what I hear the walk to Chatham isn't bad. The only thing that would suck is walking in the rain.

No, it's not bad at all. I've actually walked it in the rain - and that wasn't too bad either. Just keep your eye on the weather and carry a pocket sized umbrella!

How far apart are the two apartments? I think I want to try and get patterson when I arrive next week but would like to know how far I would have to walk to the bus stop.

It's about a 2-minute walk (more if you live in the back of Patterson). But...the walk feels longer when it's raining, or after you go shopping. I also hated the walk coming home late at night (around 2-3 am).

Do anyone have any pictures of Patterson court? I am trying to decided on what housing I would like . I am not a loud party person so I know Vista Way is out the question for me (plus I would like to stay in one of the newer complex). is there a floor plan for Patterson? I hear a lot of people say that Chattam is still better than Patterson Court. what do you guys think?

I am having some serious trouble trying to decide which apt. complex i want to live in. I like Chattam, but i am very interested in Patterson. Ahhh! HELP!

I've lived in both. Patterson is very nice. But the bus issue will keep me from living there again. I just don't like the walk. Yes, I know the walk is not that long (and it's not- from my building, it was only about a 2-3 minute walk). But I didn't feel safe at night, coming home after shopping was a pain, and even with an umbrella I usually got soaked walking home in the rain. So overall, it's a nice complex. The pool is nice. The workout center is nice. And the apartment was nice (though it was a bit smaller then Chatham, especially the bathroom). But I won't live there again.

I don't think so. I was able to get a 2BR my first 2 CPs.

Do a YouTube search for Patterson and then for Chatham. There are some great videos of people giving tours of their apartment. It greatly helped me in deciding which one was my first choice.

I just extended my program. I lived in Vista last semester and I wanted to move to one of the other complexes. Both are nice but what sold me on Patterson Court was the color scheme.

Pattersons walls are painted an off white almost beige-y color with brown carpets and accents. It is a really warm place.

Chatham is blue carpet, grey counters, white walls. It is very penitentiary like. With the high ceilings it almost feels like your locked up and the colors are a little less homey feeling.
