My DD(5)'s favorite princess is Ariel and we didn't see her at WDW because the wait was incredible. Can someone tell me the best place to see her besides the Ariel's grotto character meal?
Thanks!

You can try the princess fantasy fair. She may be there. You won't know before entering the line though. They rotate them out regularly.

The only guaranteed way to Ariel is at her meal in DCA. PFF is such a cr@p shoot for who you're going to get.

I only saw Ariel at her Grotto for breakfast, She was in her princess dress though and not her mermaid outfit.

I think the only way you are going to see her for sure is at Ariel's Grotto.

You could book a PS for Ariel's Grotto, try PFF and if you are very lucky and meet her there, cancel the PS for Ariel's.

If your DD believe's they are the real Ariel or whichever princess and she sees them twice and the second time they don't know who you DD is, you could say "They see so many people," or "your hair is different today, " etc etc.

Just got back. The only place we saw Ariel was when we had lunch at her Grotto and she was at the Trick or Treat party. If your daughter is a real princess fan, Ariel's Grotto is definitely worth the money. We met Ariel, Belle, Aurora , Cinderella and Snow White there and the kids got to meet and get a picture with each. It was magical for them. Then when we saw Ariel at the Trick or Treat party, we did not have to stand in the very long line to meet her.

The only way to guarentee you will see Ariel is by having a meal at Ariel's Grotto.
Also there can only be one of each character in the park at the same time so when Ariel is at the Grotto you will not be able to find her else where.
I also say that Ariel's Grotto is definnately worth the money, we had Dinner here in June and we saw Ariel, Snow White, Aurore, Cinderella, Jasmine and also we got so much food we were amazed and it was all delicious.
You get a bread bowl with all types of delectable bread, Vegetables, And a couple of other things I can't remember right now for your appetizer which you share with another person in your party.
Then you get the choice of a main course which was amazingly good!
Then you get lots of chocolates and a cake for dessert with strawberries I believe, to share with another guest in your party. It was deffinately worth the cost!

Sound yummy!! I had heard bad things about the food, but have seen that they changed the menu. We have one character meal planned at Goofy's...we chose it because it was a free pass for "breakfast" thru costco and it seems to be the favorite. Our PS is for 12:30 so we're actually making it lunch since I hate to lose valuable morning park time. I think I'm going to have to book Ariel's grotto also. We went to WDW 2 years ago and never saw Ariel...I can't risk that again! DD would be very disappointed:sad1:
Does anyone know what their hours are or where to find them?
Thanks so much for all the advice!

Ariel's was DHs favorite meal in DL. We did GK with our free breakfast from Costco too. Mainly since it was the most expensive one we were getting FREE. But we really enjoyed it and are going back for DS's 1st bday in Dec.

AG is located in DCA as you are walking to Paradise Pier. They have breakfast in the am and lunch/dinner in afternoon to evening. Exact times depend on park hours. They have set "times" where they seat since the princesses make one trip through the dining area (instead of floating around like at Goofy's).

We were lucky enough to see her at the AG breakfast and at the PFF. She's my BFF's favorite princess so it really made her to day to see her twice. It was neat because Ariel remembered her too when we saw her at the PFF. princess:
