Where would you stay???

Poly! We're doing a probably once in a lifetime Deluxe stay at the Poly in December. (Then we're going back to Value-land.. lol)

Concierge Level at Poly. We did this back in 2004 and loved it. Great to watch the fireworks from the beach or the Concierge Lounge while drinking a cocktail!

I've stayed at CR but way back when WDW was only the Magic Kingdom----yep, showing my age and I would love to do it again with a MK view.

I've stayed at both. I would choose the Poly. I've also stayed at the GF & love that also, but I would still choose the Poly.

if money were no object, i would choose either the wilderness lodge, or the grand floridian. i've been to the poly to eat at ohana, and it smelled like manure as we walked in, and the contemporary...well, i guess it's just not my style.

Poly. I like the theme better. But hey it's Disney! Either would be great.

we honeymooned at the BWI so I am partial to it. we loved walking into world showcase many nights for a drink or dessert, and loved watching the epcot fireworks from our balcony...even cooler because we could also see the eiffel tower. sigh. beautiful.

out of the two you mentioned, I would go with the poly, personally. we stayed there 2 years ago and it was very nice. I loved the beach and all the tiki torches and such. the one thing I would have done differently is splurged for a mk view (we had a garden view).

I have stayed at the Poly, the Beach club, The Grand Floridian, Animal Kingdom, and the Contemporary as well as PORS and even ASM.

I will be very honest, out of all of them, even the value hotel, the CR was my least favorite, in fact we have said that we would never stay there again. We did have the castle view but that just didn't make up for it. It is very cold , very unDisney like and to be honest it was the dirtiest hotel on Disney property in our experience.

I know other people love it, so I will suggest this. You will be on your honeymoon, with Chef Mickey's you can forget sleeping in and getting the ole honeymoon snuggle and sleep in. The noise starts at 7:00 am sharp, it is terrible.

For me I would stay at any other of the delux hotels, other than the CR.

Poly vote here. I think it's the loveliest resort of them all. Not that I am biased but I did spend my honeymoon at the Poly over 22 years ago.

If it was no object, I wouldn't go to disney, I'd go to the resort from Couple's Retreat, and fly first class while I was at it!!!

My choice at diesney would be the grand floridian or the really cool suite at animal kingdom. I don't care for the poly or the contemporary. But if I had to choose one of those two, I would choose the contemporary just because I can walk to the MK. I hate waiting for the ferry or the monorail.
