Hi Guys and Gals,

I have a question for you all. I have 2 girls ages 11 and 16. We are going to be in Disney next December. We already Booked BCV but at 7 months I'm thinking of trying to stay somewhere else.

My question is if you had your choice of where to stay, where would it be?

Thanks for your input. Trying to make everyone happy with this trip because it might be my Family's last one for a while and my oldest will be Graduating the next year.

Thanks again,

Jeanie

Animal Kingdom Lodge or WL if price isnt a problem.

All Star Music and Movies are nice resorts as well. :)

Are you DVC members? If not, renting points is a lot cheaper than booking through Disney or Expedia.

If you want to stick with a DVC Resort, I suggest BLT at the Contemporary. I really want to stay there - They start booking March 1, 2009 and will open in September 2009.

BCV is a good choice, though, and if BLT is out of the question, I'd stick with that. Stormalong Bay is awesome, and it's walking distance from Epcot and DHS. I'm sure your girls would enjoy it.

Good luck, and have fun at WDW!

I personally love Carribean Beach. It's really kid-friendly. They have the greatest food court and and awesome pool. They also have all kinds of activites and you can paddle boat and stuff. The rooms are really neat. There are all different villages within it and you get one. They're all kind of different themes and it's really neat. Also, every room has a great view and every village has it's own pool and playground.

id recomend the yatch club!
the pool is amazing and the rooms are spacious!
and its right between epcot and DHS

I would definately reccomend Old Key West anyday. That resort is the only resort my family & i stay at. It's also "very" kid friendly there. It has a very tropical / Key West atmosphere to it. Most of the buildings have Victorian architecture disigned with pastel colors like light pink, light blue, light yellow, & light green. The rooms are "very" spacious & big. They have an area which is where you want to try to stay by is by the Hospitallity House. It's in an area called "Turtle Crawl." They have a check-in / informational booth down there. Also they have a very helpful gift shop & a very small food area. Simple things like muffins, eggs, milk, and etc. They have food restraunts that are delicious like Olivia's, & Goods Food To Go. They have a rec. area called Conch Flats Community Hall where you can rent tennis rackets, volleyballs, suffleboard, basketball, and more. They also have a fitness center there. You can also rent boats & bikes. All you need is to let them see you room card for when you check the items out & they give it back to you when your done. Old Key West has 4 pools, with 2 of them in the Turtle Crawl area. They also have a lounge and arcade center. OKW is somewhat of a secluded resort, which is key to relaxation. OKW is a smoke-free resort, which you can only smoke on certain designated spots. My family are DVC Members, so we don't have to pay nearly as much but rooms normally range from $250 plus tax for normal rooms and other room are more. Mainly you are settled on a small lake, river, or golf corse. You are surrounded with palm trees, which you can't see if you stay at like Boardwalk or Saratoga Springs. Downtown Disney is only a 10 minute trip away on boat, when the have to make a stop at Saratoga Springs. I think if you would pick OKW to stay at, you will be very happy and satisfied. But whatever your choice is, you will still have great fun (: I'm only 14, so idk if this helped you much.

Poly.
Fave by far. I love the feel of it, especially in the Great Ceremonial House. It's beautiful, the waterfall, the foliage, the art, especially the art. I've stayed in Rarotonga and Tokelau. Rarotonga was convenient to take the monorail, and Tokelau was convenient to get to the TTC (minutes away).
The rooms are beautiful, and the beach is as well. I love watching the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach :)
