Where Would You Stay???

I have a CM in the fam and she's got three choices for mid-August...HOT...I know!

CBR - $99/night
CSR - $99/night
WL - $153/night

Where would you stay given the same choices?? Please keep in mind that $$ is an issue, so if we stayed at WL we would stay a night or two less to help with the price difference.

I would go with CSR too. You can always visit WL to get a feel for it.

WL, just because I have been reading up on it and looking at all the wonderful pics here because we are staying there in the Fall and it looks FABULOUS!

However; you can't make a bad choice with any of your options! It's Disney for goodness sake! I would stay in the fence with the goats in "affection Section" at AK just to go!

CSR since CBR pool is down, and I would pick staying extra time vs. WL. Have fun!

At that price, WL. Proximity to Mk is great, the resort is one of the best themes. Lots love CSR, but I've heard reviewers (guidebooks) call the theming "buttoned down" compared to other disney resorts. WL is a deluxe after all. If CBR's pool was up I'd pick that over CSR.

Longer is always better when it comes to WDW. With that in mind I'd have to say CSR. The pool at CBR is closed, the quiet ones are still open. CBR doesn't have elevators. But no matter which one you choose you'll have a blast because you're in WDW.

CSR would definately be my choice. I'd much rather have a couple of extra days and stay at CSR!!!

I would pick WL, just because I love it! $153 a night is a great rate! We're paying $250 in value season (woods view).

I'd eliminate CBR because of the pool rehab.

That leaves a tough choice between CSR and WL. I'd probably pick CSR and spend an extra day or two at WDW. You can pack a lot of fun into an extra couple of days!

I know it's not the same as staying there, but you can always enjoy a meal at WL if you'd like to soak up the atmosphere for a couple of hours.

CSR but if CBR pool was open i would go with CBR. We are WL lovers but if I can spend more time then I would pick more time.

Great resort, great for August with the big pool area, great rate, great food court, great transportation.........while I love WL, I would rather stay longer !

WL, it's so much cooler feeling to me with all the big trees, in August you'll like that!

That is a hard choice since I love WL . But to say a couple extra days I would choose CSR. I have been having this debate too, if I want to spend $500 more for WL vs. CSR or POFQ. We usually stay deluxe but we could use the money for other thing right now. So we will be staying at a moderate , I change my mind everyday as to which one . Have fun at Disney!

I've stayed in deluxe, moderate and value and have likes about all of them. However, having just recently finally stayed at the WL (my Mom has always wanted to stay there), I can say that it was well worth the $$ (and we stayed in December!). We just loved everything about it and we had a great room on the courtyard. I guess it would depend on how many times you've been there and how many more trips you hope to make and whether cutting back a day or two would be that dramatic.
