I would try to arrange a stay as close to the Magic Kingdom as possible (Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian or Wilderness). You can get a great view of the fireworks from these hotels so you can watch actual fireworks instead of that cruddy NBC fireworks show.Next year my family of 4 (DH and I, 2 teenage sons) are going on a cruise on the Treasure June 27-July 4. We will come a few days early and go the parks then, but will also have 1 night at the end of the cruise. So, if you were going to stay onsite for July 4th, but not go to a park, which resort which you choose?I think we will hang out poolside, and would love if we had a spot to watch fireworks in the evening. I don't mind splurging a bit, as it's only for 1 night.
