Where would you stay July 4th with no park (2026)?

Next year my family of 4 (DH and I, 2 teenage sons) are going on a cruise on the Treasure June 27-July 4. We will come a few days early and go the parks then, but will also have 1 night at the end of the cruise. So, if you were going to stay onsite for July 4th, but not go to a park, which resort which you choose?I think we will hang out poolside, and would love if we had a spot to watch fireworks in the evening. I don't mind splurging a bit, as it's only for 1 night.
I would try to arrange a stay as close to the Magic Kingdom as possible (Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian or Wilderness). You can get a great view of the fireworks from these hotels so you can watch actual fireworks instead of that cruddy NBC fireworks show.

I think this is the plan, leaning Poly but haven't made a decision yet. Thanks!

To watch 4th of July fireworks from Poly beach, you’ll have to be staying at Poly. And Poly has the best, most straight-on view of all the MK resorts.

As an alternative book a stay anywhere and do your nest to get a res at Narcoossees...dinner and fireworks on the terrace can't be beat!

I love the WL, but you will only see the really high fireworks from there. Poly would be my recommendation.

I wouldn't pay Disney hotel prices if not doing any parks. Their high price is partly related to proximity to the various parks, so you are paying a premium for something you won't be using. All cruises depart from the coast, so maybe just stay at a nearby hotel that one night. Which airport are you flying from at the end of your trip? Relatives are going on some Disney cruise later this year and flying to/from the airport that is closest to where the ships depart, I don't believe they are using MCO.

I seem to recall discussions about restrictions on where you can watch fireworks on 7/4 if not staying at certain Disney hotels since it is peak time for visitors.
