Thinking of planning a 4 night trip Oct 25-29 next year so we can go to MNSSHP. Where would you stay? We will have 3 days in the parks. Focus will be on MK, MNSSHP, MGM, and a half day at either Epcot or AK. With 5 people, a Deluxe is really our best choice, but we're trying to do a cheap trip.

Thanks!

Have you considered POR with the trundle? I really truly love POR! It really is the best $ option for 5 and the rooms are nicely refurbished. Our kids really had a great time at their pool and the grounds are beautiful.

If you were going with a deluxe then I would vote for the Poly since you are going to be in the MK area most. The WL jr. suite is a nice option for sleeping up to 6 but very pricey. It is actually the cost of two standards. You could get a room at the Poly cheaper. CR would be nice too if they are going to be done with their remodel by then but the pool at the Poly is soooo much nicer.

For a budget trip consider POR (trundle bed - little kids seem to love that!) or two connecting rooms at POP or ASM. I know it sounds crazy to go from the GF to POP or ASM but I know my kids are dying to try staying near "Buzz or Lady and the Tramp" statutes. Plus you get two bathrooms. Its just not easy for the larger families (I know, I know). Have fun deciding. You are so much like me - planning the 2006 trip before you've even done the 2005. I did the same thing!

Is there really a concern that the remodel won't be done by October 2006? Anyone know the planned finish date?

No worries there! I believe I just saw someones post saying it was going to be done around 3/06. I don't read too much about CR though but I remember seeing a thread on the remodel updates and I think it was spring 06.
