Hi,
we are going to spend 3 days 2 nights at DL begining of April, and are wanting to get the most out of the trip, so im writing down an Itinery.
Where do you think the best place to start is? at the back of the park, the front, character greatings? we want the kids to see and do as much as we can in that time frame.
Thanks for any help :)

If Magic Mornings are available to you then do Fantasyland first on that day. If you don't have them then do FL on the nonMM first. FL rides are slow loaders and the lines get longer later in the day.

If it is a warm day and you will want to do Splash Mountain, get FPs for that in the morning because they go fast. On cool days, not so important. FPs for Indy is also a good idea to get early in the day.

First choices for us are often either Indy, Space, or Peter Pan.

You can buy programs like Ride Max to help you plan your day based on what you want to do and the days you will be there. But DH and I read the Unofficial guide years ago and pretty much do it all in our head.

We start in Fantasyland and go to Dumbo first. Don't forget Snow White as poeple often skip that one. Then we make our way New Orleans Square and Adventureland in the afternoon. We like to save Tomorrowland for the evening.

I find that as opposed to WDW, DL is smaller and charming enough that you can wander around and do what you want easily.

Our second day is our California Adventure day. My husband and son often go to Mickey's Morning Madness in Toontown because in a travel package you get access to it (which is 1 hour before toontown opens)... They have a little ceremony and then you can do the rides there and it's practically empty. Then they take the train over to the entrance and we meet up to do Cal Adventure together.

In CA we like to do the Hollywood area first... don't miss Muppets and Aladin... Then we do Soarin' bugs and make our way around to the big coasters and such.

The third day we do both parks, usually starting in CA and then ending up in DL.

I really feel like you can just show up and enjoy and don't have to stress about a plan. And in the end you'll have the most fun if you plans are flexible depending on what's going on once you get there.
