Lets say you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Lets say just for arguments sake that your family lived as close or as far away as you wanted, so no fair saying you would live in xyz because it's near your grandkids. Let's also say that you took your job with you where ever you go, so you don't need to stay in a specific place for work either.

As for me, I would live in Alaska, and have a vacation home in Hawaii, right on the beach of course. And my own private jet to take me between the 2 properties.

yes!! that sounds reallly fun XD

:rotfl:
i would live in paris
even though i dont know french i have always dreamed of living there

is hawaii humid??
i absoulutely cant stand humidity

I would live in the town I grew up in, St. Joseph, Michigan. It had a beach (it was the lake, but might have well as been an ocean, minus the salt water, huge waves, and dangerous fish), was a decent size, but not too big, close enough to Chicago to drive there for events or museums. It was perfect.

I would live in London with a 2nd home also in Hawaii and a 3rd on the Cape. :) I love big cities but i also love hawaii and the cape.

what a fun question!

Alaska or Montana (and I am planning on moving when I finish school). Second home in Sweden or Ireland, maybe.

I'd live in London. Went to college there for a semester and vowed I'd be back, but never made it back. I still have dreams sometimes that I'm living there. I'd travel on the weekends to Scotland, Whales, and Paris.

My main residence would be Capri, Italy. I have to think of where my vacation homes would be.

I live exactly where I want to live. I wouldn't mind spending a couple of months each year in the UK and maybe a week or so in Vermont in the fall. I'm very content where I am.

I'd spend June to mid-September in a 200-250 year old farmhouse in Massachusetts in one of the good suburbs inside 495 but outside of 128, probably off of Rte-2 but I'm not picky.

The later fall would be time for Colorado, somewhere up in alpine areas, but not too crowded. Creede maybe. Thanksgiving-Christmas through Mardi Gras, maybe through the mid-spring would be spent out in Pioneer or Epps Louisiana, volunteering for the state archaeologist at Poverty Point, (I presume I'd have the money to do whatever I wished. . .) while the DH went fishing. When the weather got warm, I'd head over to Vancouver to enjoy their spring from a nice townhouse in the downtown area with a view of the Bay. May would be spent in England and then back to Mass, with trips to my rustic home in Maine whenever the weather got too hot. Of course, I'd mix it up and visit New Zealand, San Francisco, Peru, San Diego, Santa Fe, Austin, and a few other interesting places for a month here or there.

I would live in
Waterloo, Iowa during the odd year summers (May thru September) for the golf, better summers than Orlando, a few Hawkeye games and my family
Columbus, Ohio during the even year summers (may thru September) for the golf, better summers than Orlando, a few Buckeye games and my in laws

I would live in
Orlando, Fl for the other months as once it gets cold, snowy and dark a lot I no longer become a fan.

In a huge sea captains house - with a widow's walk at the top - high on a cliff overlooking the rocky coast of Maine..:lovestruc

I would live in a Brownstone in Brooklyn---in Park Slope. I would live in a beautiful, fully restored...fully renovated brown stone on a street near the subway station with room for a parking place in the back!

Rhode Island, near the ocean. I love the ocean!! Even though I can't swim...
*Hangs head down in shame.* (I'm trying to learn but I'm terrified of drowning.):scared1:

I would live right where I am living, SoCal. We have only lived here one full year. :sunny:

I do not miss the New England winters. :sad2: LOVE New England just not from November - March.

That being said DH & I are living life here in Southern California in Newport Beach!!! The beautiful OC!!!!! :beach:

I have always wanted to live in a small town-like you see on tv with a main street lined with nice shops and restaurants, etc in a big stone house with a lake, somewhere like Maine.

I would also want a villa in Italy and a beachfront house.

Also, I would like to live at the Boardwalk in Disney!!

Definitely Paris with a vacation home in Florence. I absolutely love both places.
