I would say that the next logical place would be the Contemporary. I think it best lends itslef to the DVC concept, as the tower is so different form the garden wing that it is like 2 different hotels anyhow.
I also think you'll see one specifically located to a golf course, such as eagle Pines, to grab those adults who may be more interested in access to great golf than they are access to theme parks.
I'd also like to see one near Disneyland in CA, but I don't know what kind of space limitations they have out there.
The Poly would be, without a doubt, our choice. That used to be where we stayed all the time before we had BCV. It's still one of our most favorite places to stay and we would buy points there in a heartbeat.
Off-site? Toronto... we spend every x-mas in TO visiting family. If anyone was to ever build a timeshare property in the city, I'm in for sure.
AFAIK, there are no timeshare resorts in the city of Toronto. The closest are RCI resorts in Barrie, Ontario, about 75 miles away from Toronto airport. Both are Gold Crown and call it an hour's drive to Toronto. TUG reviews are favorable for both places.
Carriage Hills Resort is 2 miles from the slopes but has indoor/outdoor pool & hot tubs, as well as other amenities, including inroom fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs.
The Lodge at Horseshoe Resort has inroom fireplaces, convenient skiing and snowtubing, 3 restaurants & spa services onsite.
In the absence of a an urban Toronto timeshare, you might look into these the next time you are up there. Urban timeshares do seem to be growing in popularity so a developer may actually build one there, one day!
A part of a major West Virginia or Pennsylvania ski resort to take advantage of skiing in the winter, beautiful views in the summer (Greenbrier with skiing?), Washington DC to visit our capital, New York to visit NY, a DVC cruise ship, or the Rocky Mountains with the same ski, summer activities approach. Just some thoughts.
Onsite my first choice would definitely be the Poly. The atmosphere, the wonderful CMs, being able to see MK & Cinderella's castle, MK fireworks, the electrical water parade, etc are just pure Disney to me.
My second on site choice would be AKL, this could be a very relaxing and very different type of DVC resort than anything currently available.
Offsite my choice would be a resort in Hawaii, but I doubt this would ever happen.
i would definitely like to see a dvc resort along the monorail like. i was also thinking about greece for a nice new europe destination (too bad there's not one in time for the 2004 summer olympics). also, to add to the disney family-why not one in tokyo & then hong kong!!!
