Ok so first I heard the Contemp rumor, then I went and read the rumor thread about it and I got to wondering, where would I like to see the next DVC resort?

I love the idea of one along the monorail, maybe on the Epcot line. But I would also like to see one outside Orlando, like the HH or VB. But where..................? Anaheim? France? Outer Banks? CA coast? How about in Vale?

Since VB is my favorite DVC resort, I am partial to another off-WDW site, preferably with in a day's drive, so anywhere from the Florida Keys to the Blue Ridge mountains would be ok with me.

If it were off-property (which would be fine with me), I'd have to go for someplace in New England-either Cape Cod or the White Mountains, maybe the Berkshires. I'm a transplanted New Englander who'd love to go back. On property, I'd like to see the proposed Eagle Pines be finished.

I'd like to see VGC - The Villas at Grand Californian.

This question is always fun to answer...

On-site, I can't see us buying anywhere other than BWV or VWL. I know we've talked about AKL, Contemporary, Poly, etc... but if a bag of money fell from the sky and hit me in the head, I'd just add-on to what we've got... We're happy.

Off-site? Toronto. I know it's a highly unlikely place for a DVC resort, but we spend every x-mas in TO visiting family. If anyone was to ever build a timeshare property in the city, I'm in for sure.

After WDW, we're also interested in talking occasional trips to Europe (London, Paris), followed by New York, Hawaii, California then Caribbean, in roughly that order.

Anaheim! I would love to see a DVC property adjacent to the original Walt creation. I love that park and as SoCal's largest tourist destination it really makes sense. Unfortunately I understand California laws prohibit such things. I would apply some Disney creativity and imagination and find a way!

I second the Anaheim location. Then I would not have any problem convincing my husband to buy into DVC....since his biggest "why not" reason is airfare from Hawaii.

Animal Kingdom Lodge area with a view of the Savannah!

My vote is for Hawaii, or somewhere along the beach in North Carolina where we northeasters can drive in one day. I'd also love something in the Keys.

Just my opinion, but I think there are enough DVC's on-site. Being realistic I don't expect any more off-site resorts, but it sure would be nice!

Absolutely Animal Kingdom Lodge!!! It's my favorite Disney resort behind the Beach Club! It would make a great location for a DVC property.

Onsite - I would love to see one on the monorail. I think it would be booked year around. I know the monorail from Epcot to Transportation Center seems to travel over alot of undeveloped property.

Offsite - DVC California would be great. I really want to go there some year.

CR North Garden Wing tear it down, start again as DVC - walk to MK - hurray!!!

Hi,

Off Site: New England would be perfect for me. Great for the Fall colors!!

On Site: Eagle pines looks promising! AKL &/or the monorail.

On Site: Eagle Pines sounded great to me.
Off Site: North East (New England).
I think I remember reading that NY and NJ have the largest population of DVC owners. Some place close would be great.
