Where would you go, park again or resorts?

I'd probably do another park day on Saturday and do a resort day in the middle somewhere. My family does like resort-hopping, so we've done part of a day going around and checking out decorations etc. Just depends on what you guys like doing.

I vote for break in the middle.... Tour the resorts then, or try a movie, minigolf, go fishing, anything a bit low key. Switch a park day of your choice to the last day. And, go ahead and add a day if you might want to go to a park on your rest day evening, even if just for dinner. I just realized we are there practically the same time! My tentative plan is : MK (entering around 6:00 pm), HS, Epcot (just in pm), rest day, MK, AK,Epcot, MK (leaving in early pm).

We are going to WDW 12/19-12/27. This will be our 2nd trip. Our biggest regret from our first trip was not enough time, (we went for 5 days the first time). We will be going to Epcot 2 days, MK 2 days, DHS 2 days and AK 1 day. To be fair 1 of the Epcot days is going to be arrival day. I had planned on us going to Universal for 1 day to see all of the Harry Potter stuff, but it will cost my family of 4 almost $700 for 1 day!!! I am not willing to pay that much for 1 day, so now we are deciding to do with the Saturday before we leave. Where would you go? I am thinking about just resort hopping to see all of the pretty Christmas decorations, and also Downtown Disney and boardwalk because we did not do any of that the last time, but at the same time, it makes me sad to think about not being in a park right before we leave. My hubby thinks that any more then 2 days in 1 park and we will be bored. What do you all think? Where should we go?

I would add in an additional park day at the end and either go back to do something you ran out of time for, something you loved and want to do again, or just spend it in the Magic Kingdom because it is the Magic Kingdom. I can't imagine being bored after two days at a given park.

I am a person who doesn't "get" resort hopping. We tried it a bit last year when we were hit with a deluge on our Epcot day. I suggested we take the monorail to the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house. We went, we looked at it, and then were like, "Ok, now what should we do?" My kids were especially underwhelmed! I think they thought I had lost my mind.

I would add another park day to your tickets-it's only $10 for that extra day. For $10 you could your monies worth out of that ticket without being in a park from open to close.

I would add an extra day at Epcot. The Holiday Storytellers are great but can be hard to see in one day so an extra day would allow you to see more of those.

I love the Boardwalk (own DVC there) but I wouldn't really call it a destination-there are a few restaurants and you can rent bikes but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

I enjoy an occasional visit to Downtown Disney but I hate it when it is super crowded and I'm worried I'll lose a kid. It is not a must do for us.

We just came back from our trip and ended up hopping back over to MK everyday for something (love park hoppers!). We spent half a day at AK (not a fan), half a day at DHS (did the thrill rides and a few shows), 1.5 days at Epcot, and 2.5 days at MK. The nice thing about hopping back to MK at night was we got to do some of the big things there without wait times during parades and fireworks that we saw already (although I just had to watch Wishes twice). Have a great vacation!
