I am trying to plan a "last meal" for myself and my mom when we go to the World in September. It will be a breakfast and I want it to be fun and memorable, so the choices I have are Chef Mickey's, Cape May and Ohana. Where would you go to end your vacation on the right note? Do you have any other suggestions? :confused3
BYW I'm staying at the Dolphin and the day BEFORE we leave will be my 25th birthday! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

We enjoyed a late breakfast at 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian. The food was definitely a cut above Chef Mickey's. The characters were quite good and certainly different from the standards. Alice and the Mad Hatter were charming and of course, Mary Poppins out in the lobby was quite proper in that English kind of way! :goodvibes

And of course, the GF is a lovely place to visit too!
Will you be at the parks that day? We headed to the MK early and then took the monorail over.

I voted other because my choice would be 1900 Park Fare. The GF is so pretty and the meal is delicious and the characters are great. It's our favorite breakfast.

We like both Cape May and 1900 Park Fare but for a real blowout goodbye I'd go with 1900.

Another vote for 1900 Park Fare. It's what DH and I did the last morning of our trip. It was a lot of fun - excellent character interaction.

I ate at 1900 PF last year when we went and while the food was lovely and there weren't very many people, I found the character interaction somewhat lukewarm (with the exception of Eeyore and Pooh-they were great!). I do want to try something different though-I love new surprises!

out of your choice i pick ohana's but mine is 1900 park fare :thumbsup2

I picked "other" because I also vote for 1900 Park Fare. Really great breakfast buffet in a beautiful setting. I think it would be perfect for you and your mom. I love Chef Mickey's but the food isn't as good imho and the atmosphere is just crazy (but in a fun way).

We are going to 1900 Park Fare for our last night and I am going to take my girls to the new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique before dinner in DTD. I heard the BBB opens in April.

Thats what I heard as well. FYI you may want to make an appointment now for your girls. BBB will probably be really packed since it is new.
Thanks so much everyone for all of the suggestions! Keep em coming!

I picked Cpare may because you are staying at the Dolphin, and it would be such a pretty walk to get there on your last day.

We eat at Chef Mickey's on our last morning. I love the atmosphere at CM's - the monorail running through, the napkin-twirling - it just feels very "Disney-ish" to me. Plus, I have to have a Mickey Waffle on my last morning. And all the traditional characters are there.

If I were choosing, it would have to be CM's or 'Ohana - in fact, this year, I almost chose 'Ohana instead of CM's - because, you can see the castle if you get a good table at 'Ohana.

You didn't say where else you were eating while you were there. If you will have already been to the Poly for another meal, then I'd choose CM's just for the opportunity to visit another resort. Likewise, if you will have already eaten somewhere else at the CR, then I'd probably choose 'Ohana.

Anyway, for our last breakfast, I like to be close to the MK.

We have Yacht Galley brkfst booked for our departing brkfst. We'll be leaving from our 2wk Aug vacation from BCV. We have O'Hana's booked for our last dinner.

I picked Cape May since you are staying at the Dolphin & it would be convenient. Try to get in Chef Mickeys or 1900 PF during your stay at WDW & end with Cape May.

Our favorite breakfast buffet location is Boma, although it tends to be a first morning tradtion, rather than a last! :goodvibes

Another vote for 1900 Park Fare -- food is excellent and the atmosphere is beautiful!

I voted for Ohanas with CM being a close second. The food is good at both with the atmosphere of Ohanas getting my vote over CM. It is more peaceful, you dont have to wait in line to get your food. I guess I would ask which characters your mom would enjoy more. I know Lilo and Stitch are at Ohanas, not sure which other characters are there now, while CM has Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale. Either way, you cant go wrong!

Another vote for 1900 Park Fayre.
