So I've never eaten at any of these places, so give me some opinions.

Lunch- Whispering Canyon Cafe or Tony's

and then

Late breakfast at Hollywood and vine OR early lunch at Hollywood and vine OR (if I can get it) early lunch at 50's Prime time.

TIA!

My vote would be for Whispering Canyon and 50's Primetime Cafe.

Personally, I was not impressed by Tony's - I thought it was very average, "ho-hum" Italian. Whispering Canyon is a lot of fun.

I have never been to Hollywood & Vine but from the reviews I've read on here, it's not a place that I am rushing to try. I love 50's Primetime though! Tasty "comfort food", fun theming!

I agree 100%.

I can't comment on Hollywood & Vine vs 50's Primetime , but I would not do the breakfast if it is a buffet. Go with the lunch. I find that Disney tends to use powdered eggs on the buffets and all you can eat breakfasts. (That's why a really miss the breakfast at spoodles.)

WCC and then pick something else entirely like the Sci-Fi or the The Brown Derby

50's PT and WCC

We really did not like H&V. It is a place we would probably never repeat.
We would maybe be Tony's again, but only if there were not ADRs for any other TS!

WCC has good food and is sooo fun, The food at 50's PT is pretty good, I would go back there again just for that brownie sundae!

WCC and 50's PT, both fun choices, but less chaotic than H&V :thumbsup2

We haven't been to Tony's, it looks good, but DS won't eat sauce :confused3

We like both WCC and Tony's a lot so it would be a toss up for those and it depends on if you want BBQ or Italian. Tony's is really great if you wanted to have a late lunch and ask to get seated outside so you can watch the 3pm parade while eating (that is what we do, always get a 2:45pm ADR). Now H&V, we were not impressed with it at all, and that is very rare for us to say about any Disney restaurants. We ate there in March and did not really care for it. The only thing that I did like about it was that they had this corn chowder soup that was really good. I really don't feel the food and atmosphere is worth the amount of money they want you to pay to eat there.

Thanks for the advice! I've been trying to get 50's prime time for a WEEK now, but there are NO lunch ressies at all. Ever. The entire time we are there.

Dinner coming out the wazoo, but no lunch.

We are having an early dinner at the Brown Derby that day (fantasmic package) so I 'm trying to figure out what to do for late breakfast/early lunch.

And the day we arrive we want to get to the MK just a little, get out feet wet ya know, So I think we'll go to the WCC and then take the boat over for a ride or two before out Dinner at Ohana.

My vote would be Tony's and 50's Prime Time. H&V and WCC are two of three Disney restaurants we will NEVER go back to.

Tonys and 50's of course, stay away from H&V at all costs

We did WCC for lunch in Aug, it smelled so good and DH was in the mood for BBQ so we went for it. So disappointing..the food was greasy, fatty and just BLECH. THe cornbread and SW chicken chowder was good (until I got a huge bone in my mouth). No fun and games, no antics and a very dull server was the sour icing on the cake.

We did Tonys lunch Oct 08 and really enjoyed it alot...great food and a nice comfy setting.

No way would I go to H&V for any meal ever again, it is that bad...we have been to 50's PT alot and it is always good, the best fried chicken I ever had.

As with all the others...definitely WC and PT.

Now you have to ask yourself...for years everyone has complained about Tony's and H&V...so why hasn't disney spruced up their act.

We all know the food is horrible... Why do they not change the chef and/or menu. We all spend good money to eat at WDW. It is a shame when you waste it on food that is consistently bad.....

Think we should start a petition:lmao::lmao:

I would recommend Kona or Plaza before WCC or Tony's. If you do select WCC for lunch you should select an earlier time...and note dinners might be the better time for WCC.

We would select 50's Diner over H&V, noting Disney Studios is weak when it comes to TS restaurants. The theme is better than the food. You could even consider Boardwalk area dining...it is a short boat ride away just outside the front gate.
