Where Would You Eat For Your Birthday?

I'm planning one of my upcoming trips and will be there on my birthday weekend. I'm hoping my whole family will be there as well (boys will have to miss a day or two of school to make this possible) so it could be 2 adults and 3 kids. Where would you want to eat for your birthday? I've thought of everything from the California Grill (leaning away from that one since it will be all the kids with me) to Cinderella's Royal Table. Give me some ideas! A cake will probably be delivered from one of the bakeries for dessert if that makes a difference on what you would choose.

Narcoossee's is birthday worthy.

Teppan Edo can be fun for kids, and the menu usually appeals to most guests. Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk sometimes is overlooked but is family friendly and delicious. If you want to splurge and the kids can handle a more formal atmosphere, Yachtsman Steakhouse never disappoints. The Boathouse appeals to all ages but can get loud if you're seated indoors.

Rose and Crown is festive for birthdays but, again, the indoor seating can be raucous.

Cali Grill in the evening AFTER depositing the kids at a Children's Activity Centre - Maybe Lilo and Stitch at the Poly? That's what I did and before Dinner - DH and I went on Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion and a couple other rides solo. It was a nice treat as it will be a very long time before we do a Disney Trip without kids. :)

We're doing a date night this time as well. My kids love the activity centers and ask to go back.

San Angel Inn (mexico) ask for a table by the water so your kids can see the boats from the ride go by, also the kids will like the dark night sky with the Volcano hovering above. Then treat yourself to an Avocado Margerita, you have to ask for it, it's not on the menu, but many San Angel regulars know of the drink, supposedly their signature margerita.

We've done birthday dinners at Teppan Edo and Via Napoli, both were very good and a lot of fun. Had preordered birthday cakes and both places sang to the birthday person.

My birthday dinner was at Teppan Edo. I'm eating there again on my next visit. The desert Ginger Cake was amazing. You better like ginger, because it was really strong. I also enjoyed the cooks show.

California Grill or Yachtsmans Steakhouse. Though once we went to Chefs de France for my wife's birthday. The older lead waiter got two of the younger waiters with him to sing her happy birthday (in french) and then kissed her on both cheeks.

Thanks, everyone! Narcoses' and Yachtsman were currently topping my list - and as a bonus, we've never eaten at either place. My husband and I are going on a couples only trip at the end of the year (this trip will be at the beginning of the year), so no matter what, I'll definitely be trying these two places at some point in 2017! Glad to hear they're so highly recommended.

For a birthday celebration both are good choices. I would probably choose YSH becasue I like the layout of the tables. There are enough rounds to accomodate your party. Narcoossees, is awesome, but they tend to pull tables together for a long table, and I think that may take a little away from a celebration.

DH and I go to Yachtsman every year for our birthdays. If you mention it to the hostess, they will print a menu that says "happy birthday" on the top and give it to you as s souvenir. Service is always great and food (especially the truffle mac and cheese!) is delicious.

Have a great trip!

We ate at BlueZoo for my wife's birthday. They gave her a nice happy birthday decorated dessert because i had mentioned her birthday when making the reservation. If we were ever to go on my birthday, I would probably go to Biergarten.
