Hi all

Forgive me if this has been done before but thought it would be interesting to get viewpoints on where people will be eating and why? We are going for four days and will definitely be doing cafe mickey and rainforest cafe. Would like to do auberge but don't know if I could justify the price. We will be a party of 3 adults. A 12, 7,4 and an 6month old baby.
Thanks

Were going nxt mth for 3nights , girls only trip kids 6+7.

Original plan
sun: inventions brunch vetoed this as wasnt gone on theme (pooh bear).
Them decided Walts deam meal (but disney cancelled it:-( ).
Now thinking maybe rainforest Lunch before we get our room key at 3pm.

Mon: princess lunch (it booked but im not 100% convinced it worth it).
Tue: cafe mickey dinner with friends.

With a mth to go thos could all pos change lol!

On our arrival evening doing EoS ir buffet at the Cheyenne depending on how hungry and tired we are, and crowds. On wednesday we're doing plaza gardens, never had meal there before. Thursday - restaurant des stars. Friday - Rainforest cafe. Saturday c/s restaurant, thinking of cowboy cookout, meal was great, hope it's the same. On Sunday brunch at Inventions. No plans for monday. We leave on tuesday, so lunch at Mickey's cafe or annette's

Here is our resturant plan for our 7 day trip we are two adults and we are staying in the Santa Fe. We prefer table service resturants than counter service as for just a few Euros more you can sit down and relax with a nice glass of wine and a beer at lunch time. We are also shareholders so get a discount in the table service resturants.

Everything in blue is booked, the ones in black is a maybe.

All our favourate resturants are on the list apart from the Blue Lagoon which is closed during this trip.

We are still unsure as where to go for lunch when we arrive, might go to Pizzeria Bella Notte, Casey's Corner or the Last Chance Cafe are possibles.

We always do Walts, and usually Blue lagoon :goodvibes . have enjoyed Inventions and to to a slightly lesser extent California grill in the past :) Really love the Steakhouse and enjoy King Ludwigs and Rainforest cafe but this year we want to try the Yacht Club...........it will be a new one :goodvibes

Those are my answers the kids would tell you Blue lagoon every time and the Silver Spur :rotfl2:

K x

Ps I really loved Auberge before it was the character meal but feel the price now is a bit OTT [worth it if you like the characters] and if you have kids with you rainforest is always worth doing :thumbsup2

For upcoming trip(s), my list of places to eat:
- Walt's - loved it the last time I was there and want to go back!
- Blue Lagoon - definitely want to see what the atmosphere is like - only ever seen it from the POTC ride!
- Plaza Gardens and/or Restaurant des Stars
- BBWWS - want to see what the show is all about!
- Earl of Sandwich - want to see just how good it is!

Was also thinking about Inventions Sunday brunch, but now am not so sure - it's really just so expensive! Still thinking about it...

That is impressively organised!!

Thanks all for your replies. For those of you who have ate at blue lagoon walts plaza gardens and spur house what is so nice about them. Can I take it blue lagoon is in middle of potc ride? Is the atmosphere good? Would kids like them. As we have all girls would live to do auberge but can't justify the price esp if they won't eat it. Could see us in mcd straight after. Also if I booked these places for 6pm would I have enough time to be finished for dreams. We are traveling end of march. Finally would I need to book these restaraunts or just the character ones ? Thanks so much. As this trip is costing a fortune want to get most out of it as I reckon it will be a long time before we are back

walt's is great. Loved it, but my kids prefer Restaurant des stars. It's too not childish for them :lmao:

Our favourite is WALTs we love it for dinner on our last day and it is a bit of a tradition for us now! I have always been lucky to be seated overlooking main street and you get to see the parade if you book to coincide....the food and service are great too. Blue Lagoon is our next must do....we all love POTC and think it is great fun to be part of somebody eles ride experience - again the food and service is great - huge choice! We always go to Cafe Mickey either breakfast, lunch or dinner - this is just magical with all the character interaction and again the food is great. The Yacht Club is a lovely place to eat too....especially if you have a birthday!!! they really know how to celebrate your birthday! ;)

We're going to be there July 1 and 2 but we will be jetlagged like crazy flying from the west coast of Canada with a 9 hour time difference so I don't want to reserve any dining because I don't know when we'll want to eat.

is it impossible to find tables for 5 last minute anywhere?
