i do get confused in who wrote what and where.
Like the talent comment was written about how UN talented i am like i am in awe of people who can chew gum and walk a straight line... That's talent. What these others can do Like D~ that is just dang magic..
don't be afraid of asking questions either. so stay on the stage with us and no more hanging out with Statler and Waldorf in the balcony.

First off i am honored Jane felt comfortable enough to introduce herself here.

Secondly. You know i DON'T like doing an update about non happiness but..
had to have a talk with Tom yesterday. His Mom is not doing well. she is in and out of the hospital. I am NOT happy about the doctors i do NOT believe she is getting the care she needs. I DO believe the doctors are trying to make money off of her now. Tom has become the type of person to turn his back on problems instead of facing them. I am the direct opposite. He wasn't always like this.
ANYWAY i had to tell him neither his sister,BIL nor himself know how to deal with something like this. Stomach cancer. Congestive heart failure, received a rash after radiation, radiation is taking a toll on her health and her body isn't "bouncing back" she is starting signs of dementia... Tom is going to have a sit down with the doctor. she needs to be put into a home where she WILL get the care she needs. without the hospital raping the insurance money.... will keep you posted.

THEN on the Disney front!!!
On a brighter side! I spoke with Tom about going to Disney. He said it is GOING TO WORK! Come august i am booking the Sept 2014 from Sept 3- Sept 10.

Then last night the friends who want to come along their son asked me to take pictures of his last game. i just love their kids. of course i cannot say no. plus that was a day i didn't have softball or baseball i was getting the heebie geebies about being away from the field!
i will post a couple of pictures from baseball soon.

THEN there is this little auction going on on Facebook... and of COURSE i need to bid on about 6 of the items... i do have a budget to stay on..

Yeah well that went flying out the window... The scrump wallet thing is WAY out of my budget. and it is STILL going strong. and the black wallet thing i was outbid on too.. ALL for the greater good right!!! i feel so selfish about bidding on everything!!! so i am letting the black mickey head go...

ok going back to stalk the auction.. will be back..

Sending prayers your way for your mother in law. Not an easy thing to go through at all.

Keep disney thoughts going it will help. September is lots of fun. My DD (22) asked for a trip to WDW for her 21st birthday with her old mom. We had a BLAST and stayed at the POLY. My absolute favorite but so expensive.

We were going to repeat our Girls Trip in April but had to cancel and reschedule because I had to have some surgeries. If all goes well we are going to Coronado Springs in October with my girlfriend and her son.

I have found that planning and having that as a goal has kept me going. Not to mention all of you and your excellent Trip Reports.

Suzi I have been reading yours too how could I have left you out of my first post my eastern seaboard friend....... Accent? Don't know what you guys are talking about. We don't talk funny you do HAHA

I would rather not confront problems either, especially where Mom is concerned, so I feel where he's coming from. BUT my wonderful supportive DH is a great comfort and help so be that rock for your Tom. And Everybody's Moms are in my prayers. Just to be on the safe side.

I need to check into Craig's List to sell some of my DH's excess junk - er childhood things he's been cleaning out of his parents' house. Thanks for the reminder! Whoever that was (bad on quoting, pretty decent on remembering)

First of all, good thoughts headed your way for DH's Mom. It is so hard watching the ones we love get old. And the picture of the kids, too funny! Sadly that is something I could see my big kid (DH) doing!

Now for the Magic Bands, I did see that yesterday. Thought it was a cute idea (plus a great way to squeeze even more money out of us). If we have to wear the Magic Bands, why not make them individualized? I can already see me having to have a different decoration to match the outfit I'm wearing each day! Of course, I don't see Pluto any where, they better fix that soon.

Oh I know Ruthie!!! I am so sorry. But in my defense....I only had to catch up on a few pages of these two. I would have to start from the beginning on yours. I will do it this weekend. Both my little guy and I are sick, so I have a feeling it will be a relaxing indoor weekend.

Your so right on the money there.. I am SURE there is Pluto. I saw they have muppets AND Nightmare before Christmas that HAVE to have Pluto. which of course your going to buy and just verified the fact people will spend more money on these things!

I almost spit out my drink when I saw the picture of your kids and the statue - and then Ruth had to add the booger remark. Let's just say its a good thing I had swallowed by that point

I loved that Boo bag - and I have the perfect shirt to go with it. It was just way more than I actually have to spend right now. Oh well, I'll just have to be satisfied with my Jiminy bag.

I wanted to tell Suzi that my oldest dd will be headed for Maine tomorrow for a month's stay on Deer Isle. She will be working at the theater there in Stonington. She did that 2 years ago and fell in love with Maine and managed to get her boss to give her a month off so she could do it again.
