I have been to WDW 3 times now and never met a villian. :sad1:

Where and when would be the best to meet villians at DL or DCA?

TIA! :thumbsup2

I have seen Cruella both outside the animation building at DCA, and on Main Street at DL. The absolute best way to meet a villain though is to go during October after the Halloween stuff is up - we saw a bunch then - and they even had their own show.

Too bad I'm only going in May... :sad1:

Hopefully I will run into Cruella when I'm there. She was my mom's favorite. And I used to joke my sister when she was little about how she said her name. It sounded more like "Coo-ella"! It was cute.

There's a spot in Fantasyland just past the castle entrance called Villain's Lair that often has villains camped out. We went during the off-season, and apparently the villains are out there only on weekends, so we missed them.

BUT! We did see Cruella anyway. She came out when the Firehouse band was playing, and goofed around a bit with a guy she pulled out of the crowd. Hilarious! This was around 4 or 4:30 in the afternoon, I think.

Cruella's trailer is also located in the Hollywood Backlot area of DCA. We waited there quite awhile hoping to catch a glimpse, but no such luck.

And my first-timer's tip for the day: Read the dang daily program! I didn't realize until halfway through our stay that it tells you which characters will be out and about, locations and times as well. (Sometimes it's vague, like Pooh characters at Pooh Corner every half hour, so you don't know exactly which one.)

When you drive through S Ariz. You can wave at my ex-wife as you go by.:rolleyes1

Amber....
We met Cruella at DCA last year across from Play House Disney. She was awesome and was so funny. She sat and talked to my kids for several minutes. Good Luck!

too funny!

We have seen Captain hook and the Queen of hearts roaming around Fantasyland during the middle of the day. They were messing with people and it was hysterical.

We've met Captain Hook at Minnie and Friends beakfast at the Plaza Inn as well as on Main Street. The Queen of Hearts was at the entrance one trip.

Visit City Hall on Main St and/or the Time Board near the Hub and ask the CM at each location ... what characters are due to be out that day and where.

City Hall is always open and is generally the best location to ask, but the CM's at the Time Board have been known to have 'Toonfinder' buttons... so in the past they usually had the more recent character schedule updates. :wizard:
Both are good places to ask!

I've also seen the Wicked Queen come out to offer Snow White an apple. That was near the wishing well to the right of Sleeping Beauty's castle. They did a whole scene and, of course, poor Snow White bit into the apple and fell asleep. They got a little boy from the line up to go and kiss her hand to wake her up.
It was very cute.

I would pay money to see that. :scared1: When was that exactly?

Last August we met Snow White at her wishing well and she noticed that my older daughter (10) was wearing her Evil Queen shirt (big time villian fan). Snow White commented that maybe we could meet her stepmother later by the castle and that she would tell her we were coming.
Sure enough we found her later in the afternoon just behind the castle. The line was long but we stayed in it even though the CM told us she would be leaving soon. The whole time she was in perfect character, teasing, sneering, scowling at everyone that came up.
Then my daughter (and her sister) walk up for their autographs and pics.
Oh my god did she change her tune when she saw the shirt.
She told us that Snow White had told her we were coming and then announced to everyone in earshot that this was a fine example of a young lady that knows how to dress. She called them her villians in training!.
She taught them how to scowl and pose and we took 4 pictures with her.
But best of all, believe it or not, I was able to get a picture with the Evil Queen smiling!!!.
This one event made the entire trip. We are going back in 1.5 weeks and my daughter cannot wait to find her!!

That's great!!! :rotfl: I love it when they are in total character. Thanks for sharing.

Have a good time! :thumbsup2

I have to second the post that the villians are out in full force close to halloween. But as summer apporaches more and more will appear.

My dd is a princess lover and when she greets the villians she will bow down and say "you look beautiful my highness" - the villians then say that dd could be as beautiful as them if she dressed better (mind you dd if often in a princess outfit.)
