Most of us are familiar with the question: "Where were you when the lights when out..", so here's my WDW version.

WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE POWER WENT OUT?

My DH, DS1 and DS2 were on line for the Stitch Ride. We got to the 1st stop and saw our training film. We got to the 2nd stop to see Stitch transported into the tube. We moved along waiting to go to our 3rd destination when we stopped prematurely. No one informed the first 2 stops that there was a problem, so they kept letting more people pack inside. There was no light, no air conditioning and I'm horribly claustrophobic. The air kept getting thinner and my DH finally spirited me away to the nearest exit. Anyone else have a similar experience they need to share?

Keep in mind, I'm the BIGGEST DWD fan on the planet, but not at that moment. :thumbsup2 I've recovered nicely :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :stitch:

Interesting thread!

Let's see...on my recent trip to the World in October, we were going on Tower of Terror. It was my 4 year old son's first time on the ride and it was my parents first time at WDW all together, so they had no clue what to expect! Well, the ride started out AWESOME as it always does. Then all of a sudden, we stopped in front of the wall and we were supposed to drop. Well, the LIGHTS CAME ON! And nothing happened. My mom and step father were like "Um, is this supposed to happen?" "NOOOOOOOO!!!!" I was so upset that their first ride on ToT was ruined. My 4 year old was fine, but he had no clue what was going on. They kept all the lights on, but to make up for the ruined ride, when it started up again, they picked us up and dropped us 10-15 times!!!! :bounce: I LOVED it, but my 4 year old was so scared! When our ride was over, they asked if we wanted to go to the front of the line and reride. Of course we jumped at the chance! Everyone except for DS who said "Mommy, I don't want to go on again!" Since they dropped us so much, DS is now scared of ToT and never wants to ride again!! :guilty:

Well not exactly lights going out,but last summer on the Kali ride i was stuck on the lift for along time.
