Where were the Disboarders this past week?

I just came back last night. I wore my lime green, my husband had a lime green bow on his backpack I had one on my fanny pack. Kids wore lime green too, but no disboarders! I asked a couple of people but they looked at me like I had just sprouted a horn from my head! I also wanted to thank everyone for all the very valuable information I received from these boards. This was my first trip, and I was able to see and do almost everything like a seasoned pro because of all your help. Thank you!

I know just how you feel. We have been to WDW 4 times, and DLR 3 times since I have found this board, and I have NEVER once seen anyone with a lime green ribbon, tag, shirt or anything!

Well, in December, we saw a whole family with lime green shirts. I didn't know if they were a family keeping "track" of each other, or DIS'ers, so I didn't say anything. I've seen people with lime green hair stuff and things too, but I never got brave enough to say anything.

Hmmmm, lime green seemed to be the color of choice for most people I saw this past week- at least that's the way it seemed. There were so many people wearing it that there was no way I was going to go up and ask if they were DISers. If I had only seen one here and there I might have, but I figured it was just a popular color with a lot of people.

That is so funny! I had the little lime green mickeys on my backpack and I even wore lime green on one of our days there! We did have a family in front of us at one point in Epcot, but I couldn't get the nerve up to ask.

I saw A LOT of lime green as well, but no DISboarders. I wore my DIS water wallet to TL, and all I got was a "what's that?" from a little girl.

but you MAY have seen me anyway. I was with a girl who had a huge faerie wing tattoo on her back!

Yes it did seem that everyone there last week was wearing lime green. Did not meet with any DIS'ers either.

Me too ! I was there with my home depot mickey chip on my backpack no one asked. THere was lime green everywhere I couldnt get up the nerve to ask either . A lot families wearing it that didnt speak english not sure if disers or not. How do you say to someone are you a diser? I am just shy I guess didnt want hubbie to die laughing. I was going to go up to someone and ask them but hubbie is like that would be too funny if they werent, so I didnt.

I wore lime green on my back pack April 29-May 8 too and nothing! I was so disappointed!! I guess I'll try again in October--only 5 months and 13 days to wait.....

there were way too many lime green shirts last week to even think about asking!!!!

I did see Erika (I can't remember her screen name) she did the Disney TV show at the Cinderellabration press event and said HI to her - I also saw PKK/MJK but that was a planned meeting!

I talk to everyone at WDW. I have asked many people if they are DISers and they never are. I have not met one! I'm always on the lookout but never see any lime green. Maybe DISers should come up with something more specific than lime green anything.

I agree with you. I found the same thing to be true. Too many people were wearing lime green.

Hey! I think I may have seen you a couple of different times! I remember seeing a young lady with a pixie tattoo on her back and telling my husband "ouch, that must have hurt!" Were you there with a young man with long hair? I didn't notice the DIS wallet! I would have tried to get up a little nerve to say hello!! I know it's hard to notice other people around you in the park, but I do have a picture of my family below (minus DH who took the picture!)
