Just to remind you, my girls (8 and 11) were in the World from December 19-29. Here are the reviews from days seven and eight.

Wednesday, December 25

Up early for breakfast at Crystal Palace with Pooh. I was anxious to see CP after it had been closed for rehab. I must say that I didn't see the rehab! I assume what was done was "behind the scenes" that the guests couldn't see. Anyway, I was not impressed with breakfast. Again, like Chef Mickey's, not much stood out as exceptional. There was an omelet station, but the omelets were flat. They certainly weren't as good as the ones at Boma's. They had all the traditional hot and cold breakfast food. I just wasn't that impressed and neither were the girls. The only characters were Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore. No Piglet. :( I felt that for the price, the mediocre food, and limited characters this wasn't a great place for breakfast. We had lunch at CP last November and it was much better. We won't do breakfast again, but will probably do lunch or dinner. Total:$40 (Again, Boma's for breakfast wins hands down!)

Narcoossee's for Christmas Dinner. We arrived about 5:15 and were seated immediately at 5:30. Wonderful table with view of Castle and Contemporary. Watching the sunset and all the lights come on in MK and at Contemporary was breathtaking. I really like the atmoshpere at this restaurant. On to the food, older DD and I shared for this meal. The younger DD had the caesar salad and the mickey pasta with marinara. Older DD and I shared the Seafood Chowder bisque. It was SO good. Our entree was the Shrimp with Fettucine and Asparagus and Mushrooms. They did have a special holiday menu. We had been planning on the scallops, but they weren't offered. The pasta and shrimp were delicious. The sauce was a light cream sauce and so good. Desserts were the brownie sundae for the older DD and the younger DD and I shared the tiramisu. It was wonderful!! The best tiramisu I have ever had and MUCH BETTER than Mama Melrose's. Total for our meal was about $70 and well worth it! We will return here.

Back to Epcot to try and do things we missed on the washout Christmas Eve. We ended up just sort of eating around World Showcase. We had lunch at Yakitori House and I wasn't that impressed. The kids had the Mickey Deal and it wasn't very much. It was one chicken strip, rice with a small amount of teriyaki sauce, and some rather cold and bland stir fried veggies. I had the Shogun special and it was okay. Total $22 Probably won't do this again.

Funnel Cake while waiting in line for CP. Good as always

Dinner at the French counter service. It was really good. We shared ham and cheese sandwiches and the cheese plate. We all liked it and want to return for pastries on another trip. We found a table inside and enjoyed warming up. :D

Ended the evening with a Beaver Tail while waiting for Illuminations. It was very good. We did the plain cinnamon and sugar. The Beaver Tail reminds me of an Indian frybread. We enjoyed it.

Check in tomorrow for the last two days!

Thanks for the reviews! I love Narcoossee's - what a wonderful Christmas dinner!
