We must weigh about 25 more than when we left home!!! Here's where we ate and what we thought about each meal. Cast was myself, 55, dh, 47 and dd, 11.

Thanksgiving Day...Chef Mickey's. It was wonderful. We had a terrific server. We were seated in that upper room that overlooks the convention area and the lake. It was much quieter and we still had great character interaction. Our meal was as good as it has always been. Terrific turkey and fixings.

Friday...dinner at Cape May. WE had my dad and step-mom up from Pompano Beach and I wanted someplace a little quieter since he is hard of hearing. Dh had wanted to try the Clambake so it seemed like a good fit. Our waitress, Angela was nice but seemed to disappear a lot!! The food was mediocre in my opinion. We like plain cooking but that wasn't the problem. The offerings just weren't that tasty. I have heard a lot of good things about this meal so I was really disappoined, especially since my dad insisted on paying. It was okay but nothing I would do again.

Sat...oh my!!! One of my new favorites...Boma. Even my picky dd loved it. I wasn't too sure I was going to be 'into' the food offerings there but I was soooo wrong. We loved it. The different types of food were incredible and so very tasty. Not too spicey at all. Just tasted good. And the actual restuarant was so beautiful. Our server was wonderful..Lindsey. We called her the anti-Angela. We will be going back there, over and over again!!

Sunday...Crystal Palace. We have loved this one every single time. But, this visit was a little less than what we had had before. The food wasn't as varied as it has been in the past. And the CM's doing the seating kept having us sit someplace and then they would go off and forget us!! It took them about 15 minutes to find us a table and this was after we got into the restuarant!! We'll do it again but won't be upset if we can't fit it in.

Monday...LeCellier for the CP package. We have heard differing opinions on this one too. But, we loved it. The food was wonderful. I had the filet mignon and dh had a piece of beef with mushrooms and fried parsnips on it. Yummy. My Maple Creme Brulee was to die for but dd wasn't crazy about her S'Mores and dh said the Cobbler was 'okay'. So, the desserts were not the highlite.

Tuesday...Liberty Tree Tavern. WE've eaten here several times. But for some reason this time it was truly good. Not sure what the difference was; just that I liked the food completely and had no issues whatsoever.

Wednesday...Goofy's Breakfast at Cape May. Loved it in August. Liked it this time. The food offerings didn't seem as extensive this time. And since they started seating at 7:30 and we were seated at 7:35, I can't understand why my pancakes were stone cold. And I took some from the middle of the pile. But one new thing they have done is added a parfait bar area, where they normally have desserts at night. Yogurt and fixings and various toppings were available.

We ate breakfast for the most part in our room at BWV. Lunch we ate on the run most days. We were satisfied with most of our meals this trip. The best were at Boma and LeCellier though.

Great reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.

mmmmwe love LeCelliers. And agree with you on the Crystal Palace as well--we don't even make a PS there anymore, it just isn't up to the food or service level of, say, 5 years ago. Try Biergarten in EPCOT sometime. You'd like that. It's fun as well as yummy food.

Thanks for the reviews!

Thanks for the reviews! I tend to agree with you about CP. We still like it for the characters and will go maybe every 3rd visit but the food and service have challenged us also. We are trying Cape May this month for breakfast. What characters were there for you and did you get good interaction?

Thanks again,

MamaQuack

Boma's is a family favorite, and we visit every time we're at Disney!!! We also love LeCellier!!

One of our new favorites is Artist Point!

Thanks for your reviews! We have a PS for Crystal Palace for MVMCP. Hope the food is good!!

Mamaquack...we had Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale all dressed in beach garb. We have found that the character interaction there is some of the best we have had. Must be due to the smaller crowd there. But, we do like it.

Magic2000...we loved Artist Point a year ago!!! Looks like we have pretty similar tastes in restaurants!!!

goofy4tink,

thanks so much - we stayand have stayed at the YC for over 7 years now but always overlook this character meal - we tried it once about 6 years ago and then keep forgetting it is right under our noses - thanks so much for getting us updated. We will be there Dec19!!! Lookingforward to it now!

goofy4tink,

I didn't know they had S'mores at LeCellier. Are they like the S'mores at the Prime Time 50's?

Shelly, no they're not!!! My dd loved the ones at 50's. These were more like a brownie thingie, with chocolate sauce drizzled over them and had vanilla ice cream inbetween the two brownies with a long stick through the whole thing that had some marshmallow with jimmies on the top!!! Dd didn't want the ice cream in the middle so she got it on the side. Turns out that was the only thing she ate!!! We took the rest home and dh tried it later that night. He said..."Hmmm, this is interesting. Not great, just interesting!" So, with the exception of my Maple Creme Brulee, I have to say LeCellier's desserts missed the mark for us and it looked like the people around us had the same issues.

I keep telling myself NOT to read the review threads---as a pregnant lady who is hungry all the time, PLUS not having a trip planned...it's torture! But thanks! You did a great job and sounds like you ate well!

Enjoyed your reviews. Thanks for taking the time to do them.
