Late dinner at Roaring Fork in WL. Hambugers were not very good.
08/29
Late breakfast at Trail's End Buffet. Great hot fresh food and good service. Had eggs, sausage, bacon, breakfast pizza, hash browns, fruit, cereal, sausage gravy w/ biscuit, donuts and pastries.
Would go here again.
Dinner PS @ Liberty Tree Tavern. Excellent meal and great character interaction. Had salad, turkey breast, pork, flank steak, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, stuffing and apple crisp w/ ice cream. Would definately do again.
08/30
Early lunch @ Sci-Fi Dine In. OK meal, nothing special. DH had cheeseburger & I split a smoked turkey sandwich w/ DS. We shared the onion rings which were yummy. Atmosphere was good but probably would not return.
PS for Fantasmic dinner package @ Hollywood & Vine. They had a large selection of food but the quality of it was poor. Service was also not very attentive. DH, DS and I had Oven baked chicken, Fettucine Alfredo w/ shrimp, peel & eat shrimp, corn, baked beans, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, mac n cheese and ice cream. Would not return here.
08/31
Lunch @ Earl of Sandwich. We all really enjoyed this meal. DH had The Full Montagu, DS had The Earl's Club and I had The Original. Large sandwiches were fresh and delicious. Would definately come here again.
Dinner @ Whispering Canyon. Alot of fun and really good food. DH had the All You Can Eat Skillet that included salad, corn bread, ribs, chicken, sausage, mashed potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw and corn on the cob. He loved it. DS had mac n cheese and I had the meatloaf with mashed potaotes and corn. It was delicious and I couldn't finish it. Would absolutely return.
09/01
Lunch at Casey's. DH had 2 Grand Slam hot dogs and cheese fries. DS and I each had a Great American hot dog and split cheese fries. Good food, great price would return.
Dinner @ Trails End Buffet. Again a great value and good food. DH, DS and I all had fried chicken, ribs, mashed potato, ministrone soup, chilli, corn on the cob, salad, shrimp, pizza and mac n cheese. Very filling and would go back.
09/02
Lunch at Electric Umbrella. Not really a first choice but we were leaving Epcot around 1:30 and everyone was starved and it was the first place we saw. DH had bacon double chheseburger and I split the same w/ DS. OK food, would probably not return.
Dinner @ Le Cellier. Had a PS for Saturday but the parks were due to close so we tried to get in tonight. Waited about 20 minutes at 7:00. The best meal of the trip. DH had shrimp cocktail and mushroom filet mignon. DS had kids pasta. I had Cheese soup and mushroom filet mignon. The best steak we have ever had. My son also enjoyed sharing mine. Must do each trip from now on.
09/03
Dinner @ Peco's Bills. DH had the bacon double cheese burger w/ fries and I shared the same w/ DS. OK food no need to return.
09/04
Dinner @ Artist Point. Due to Hurricane Frances everything was closed and we were stuck @ the WL. They had a buffet which was very good that consisted of rib eye steak, salmon, pasta w/ shrimp and scallops, salad, assorted veggies, rice and DS had corn dogs, chicken nuggets and mac n cheese. Good food but was disappointed that I couldn't choose from the regular menu that I was looking forward to.
09/05
Lock down at the WL, Frances has arrived. We each had a box lunch of ham & cheese, chips and soda for lunch.
Dinner @ Artist Point again. A different buffet, still good. Had a choice of Whispering Canyon Buffet or Artist Point Buffet, both for 21.99. Easy choice for us. Would return but for regular menu, I was tired of buffets at this point.
09/06
We were suppose to return home today but our flight was cancelled and rescheduled for 09/09.
Lunch @ Fulton's Crab House in DTD. Pretty good food and service. DH and I each had a huge platter of the seafood combination. I split w/ DS. Would probably not return.
Dinner @ Roaring Fork. DH and I each had the cream of mushroom soup and Caesar salad. Soup was very good, salad was not. Did not like this place at all but it was convenient.
09/07
Lunch at Flaming Tree BBQ. DH had the smoked 1/2 chicken w/ beans & corn on the cob. DS and I had the mini hot dog kids meal which includes chips, beverage, and a certificate for popcorn or ice cream and soda or water for later in the day. A great bargain for 5.99. Would revisit.
Dinner @ Whispering Canyon. DH had the all you can eat skillet again, and I split the pork chops, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob w/ DS. I really like the food and atmosphere of this place.
09/08
PS for Hoop Dee Doo. The food was surprisingly good here. Salad, fried chicken, ribs, beans, and corn on the cob. Also enjoyed the sangria. Cute show but no need to do every trip.
