My first trip was in 1992 and I remember going into this large building where there was a show that featured Roger Rabbit. The regulars were there also. It was on 2 levels and Mickey jumped out of a box. I am trying to figure out where that building is now and what is in it now.

Thanks

I love Roger Rabbit but I don't remember the show you mean but I would like to know the answer too.

I think I remember hearing something about all signs of Roger Rabbit being removed from MGM, no clue as to why????

This was in Magic Kingdom...most likely near Toontown. We only went to MK on that trip. When you walked in there was a big screen where you could see yourself. It was like a big waiting area until the show started. Then you walked into the big "theater". If I could only remember.

Deb...it was a show not a ride. I see you live near Iowa City. I am near Waterloo/Cedar Falls. Small World, isn't it.

I believe you are referring to Mickey's Starland (now Toon Town). They used to have a show that featured Chip and Dale making a cake (in a sit down theater) for a birthday celebration they had everyday and the birthday celebration featured a large cake and took place in what is now the Judge's Tent.

Yeah yeah yeah!! I remember this!!

It was for Disney World's 20th Anniversary, I believe - a whole Mardis Gras theme thing, I think. I only vaguely remember it, but we definitely have pictures of these GIANT balloons and birthday boxes and stuff. And that would make sense, if it was near the current Toontown, because that was originally Mickey's Birthday Starland or something, wasn't it?

I think....trying to explain it now, I'm realizing I may not have a clue lol.

I know what you are talking about. We were there in July/August 1992 for our honeymoon. WDW was celebrating a birthday and part of the celebration was for Roger Rabbit to just show up in different places. He had surprise gifts (I remember souvenier coins, but can't remember anything else). We got a couple of the coins. We saw him in the Diamond Horseshoe Review which could very well be the 2 story building that you remember. Hope this helps.

I remember a birthday celebration with Chip and Dale and a few other characters (Minnie and Daisy??) and you're right, Mickey did jump out of the cake. It was in a big amphitheater that was enclosed. I don't remember Roger Rabbit though.

The only thing I remember that has to do with Roger Rabbitt was at MGM near the backlot tours and there were some props there that you could take your picture with the weasals, I think.
